DUMMY CRABBY II — Restaurant in Wesley Chapel

The biggest disappointment was the customer service when I came in to pick up the food, today 3/15/25 at 2:10 pm. As a 1st time customer I felt unnoticed more than once at this location on Amberly Dr. They were busy so I out of patience for roughly 7 minutes at the front with no greeting such as a simple, "Hello I'll be with you in a moment." So then I took it upon myself to walk through the restaurant to the back to attempt to get some acknowledgement, still none for about an additional 5 mins. At this time I'm in front of the register where multiple employees are and of course they are occupied, which is why I waited. I have to say "hello, do you see me standing here" multiple times until a waiter who was very close to me decided to "attempt" to listen to me explain about my experience. I spoke of how the customer service was not because I couldn't even get greeted after standing and waiting in the front upon walking in. Then another lady shows up and appears to be more in charge comes up to register and i have to wave at her to "see me" and listen to me speak. She said sorry we are all busy. I said customers should still have some kind of greeting eventually, even at a busy restaurant, but I never got a hello or eye contact from any staff. Then she wanted to ask me for my number so she can get my order. I said just me a moment to decide if I even want this food at all. I eventually did pay for my order but after the negative experience as a first time customer you think they give some kind of courtesy compliment for future use or at time of payment. They could have gave one of my fries I ordered on the house. Nope! Just "sorry." What a first time and last time at Dummy Crabby Amberly Dr. location. Never again. I spent $80 as a first time customer to be treated like I was invisible. The food overall was Mid, nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary. SERVICE: THIS SHOULD BE CRUMMY CRAB!!! Listen there are WAYYYY too many of these places in Tampa bay to pick this one! The seating is chaotic at BEST and people are literally arguing over seats. Secondly, when we finally did get a seat we had someone take our order and then our waitress never came back ONE TIME! Not even ONCE! We literally had to grab a passer by to ask for some to go boxes and the check. This service isn’t even bad it’s COMPLETELY NON EXISTENT! The entire group of people on our side were complaining and completely unhappy!

FOOD: Dummy Seasoning (Hot) was good I’ll admit but the seafood boil is overcooked and rubbery. If you’re looking for your potatoes, corn & eggs…Just KEEEEEP digging! They are absolutely sooo tiny it’s unbelievable! I didn’t even realize they made corn and potatoes that small! They are no bigger than salad size!

I came inside and ordered to go. I asked for a shrimp bag with extra sauce, corn, and potatoes. The person taking my order thought I said “sausage” instead of “sauce.”

I didn’t notice the error until getting my food. When I told them I didn’t ask for sausage, they took the bag in the back and I watched them pick the sausages out and try to give me the same food. When they brought it back out, I asked them to please remake it as I’m not a fan of how the sausages makes the sauce greasy. I even ordered wings so instead of them refunding me for the sausages, I only pay the difference.

I get home to yet still a greasy bag of food and even found a sausage in there. I don’t recommend this place one bit! The corn was small as if they were cut in half, and the potatoes weren’t fully cooked. If I could give 0...
