Ice cream was meh. In other words NOT GREAT. Had to wait 5 minute to have my order taken. I was the only one in line. Waited another 15 - 20 min for a "cup" of ice cream. This was my first time at a Twister Treat. I had no idea as to size. My wife texted me saying she wanted a prailene ice cream. The employees asked me a size and gave me standard size example (s m LG). I asked how big a med was and was told "7 turns". WTF is 7 turns. This is what I got. While I waited a child came up to the window with her icecream dripping down her arm. She asked for a container. She was given one and she walked away. I had to ask for napkins and a spoon for her. Mom was greatful for the small gesture. Also while I waited an employee "called" a patrons name for their purchase 3 times out the window. The employee got a very dissapoited look on their face. I went to the employee, asked the patrons name and in a very clear and distinct voice (former military) called said patron. They came up, retrieved their purchase and thanked me. I DON'T WORK THERE. Why should patrons be thanking me, a person who is paying for service and not the people they gave money to. I am tired of poor service that I paid good money for. I'm sorry for ranting.... but I will NEVER go back to this establishment again. The bad part is... I work very close to here. DQ is a little out of my way... but I'm going there from now on. Also as a last complaint. An employee came out the back door "bear hugging" a garbage can. Placed it out for customers.garbage. They went back inside and back to working. They didn't have time to wash hands before returning to food service. Never mind the fact that they had a trash can on them and whatever was all over their uniform. This was all at 10 pm on 7-3-2019. Read moreThis was my first visit to the twistee treat. I wanted to bring my toddler for a special experience and treat. I found it very bizarre that their menu has no prices listed. I had to ask the girl ordering and even she didn’t know. She had to look it up on the computer. I didn’t want to bother her anymore by asking the fine details of what toppings were or were not included. I figure I would order and just pay what ever. I assumed one topping might be free or low cost. Brace yourself for the price of SPRINKLES $1.04 for literally a little sprinkling. I mean at this point it is what it is, I’m not going to hassle the minimum wage worker. However, I do feel like the customer should know the prices are NOT transparent. I mean don’t get me wrong I don’t mind driving 10 minutes down the road to cold stone and paying much more, because to me their ice cream is top tier and the prices are on the menu. I felt like it was very average soft serve ice cream. I honestly would probably qualify it more 3 - star, but I want to give feedback to the owner and other potential customers. I don’t want to bring their rating down or anything. Please make your prices visible and clear. The other thing that was a frustration is you have to wait to ask for more napkins. I was standing at the window dripping ice cream and just waiting for someone to open the window. Please make it easy for customers to grab napkins that choose to hang out and eat. Read moreWorst twistee experience so far. Messed up banana split in out 1st order when we first got it when we clearly said no peanuts. When I returned the order, instead of saying “we messed up”, nope, counter said next time say “they have nut allergy” instead of just saying no peanuts. When getting 2nd order, 2nd employee said the same thing and said “we have to remake the order” implying it’s customers fault. When I complained about why they need to say that twice, 2nd employee said again we have to remake it. I offered to pay for it twice. Manager from nowhere without exact knowledge of situation comes by and says don’t yell at her employees and said they are just humans for making mistakes rather than understanding what happened clearly first. Customer was not upset about making a mistake with the order, clearly it was how your employees passed blame to the customer instead. Not worth the trouble coming here. Worst customer service experience. On top of all that, kids slushees were 3/4 filled, and when we walked away without receiving the “remade” banana split that they originally messed up, the manager just ignored us.
