My wife and I had our Thanksgiving meal in the evening. It was very good. As I do now and then, I ordered the 3 BlueBerry muffins with 3 extra. I had the first one the next day, Friday and there was only about a 1/4 or less of blueberries in the Muffin. One I had was only 4 blueberries in it and 1/4 of it not a single blue berry. I kept that 1/4 and we had to take our Ram truck to Douglas Jeep, great place for service with John, and we went back to Perkins. I showed the manger the 1/4 muffin, his name was John, and he said he was sorry it happened. We ordered breakfast which Lisa served us. As I paid for the bill, John handed me a box with 6 Blueberry muffins in it and John says I think these will have allot of Blue Berries. I waws some what stunned as thought this was another resturant that really did not care and sure the muffins were made else where and yet John was willing to make it right. I thanked John for making this right and know we will be stopping there again. The remodel is also fantastic and everyone was friendly and helping all the customers. So John, thank you again. I had informed John that we had stopped at Perkins from Wisconsin to Florida and first time the muffins really did not have many blueberries. I again thanked John so Great Job John. You will do well there...
Read moreWe had a very bad experience at the newly remodeled Perkins in Venice. Table for 2...
We were seated immediately then ignored for 16 minutes till we spoke up to a waitress practically running away from our table which was right in the middle of the dining room, identified as table 32. About 2 minutes later, our drink order was taken reluctantly by a waitress who said in a snarky manner, “I’m not your server, but I can get you beverages.”
Moments later, we heard, “Whose got table 32?”
“I don’t,” said another.
An unseen female voice practically shouting from the back room was heard, “Well somebody’s got to take it!”
Finally, an unapologetic dark-haired waitress arrived. She took our order and was unable to accommodate my low-carb diet and refused to substitute pancakes, so I simply sent them back. My date odered Steak Benedict which came out under cooked.
Lastly, the portion sizes were smaller than Denny’s and Metro Diner (right down the street), where they allow substitutions.
The manager later reached out to apologize offering a gift card, but the experience was so awful, I doubt we will be back with so many other options...
Read moreI work late and came to this location to eat at 1:15 am. NO ONE was available to seat me and my wife. There was a total of five, that’s in five people in the seating area.
After waiting/standing around at the register for FIVE MINUTES my wife went almost into the kitchen to find a waitress. Once the waitress realized there was someone waiting to be seated she seated us and gave us menus and left.
After waiting ten minutes the waitress NEVER CAME BACK!! We got up and left. I went home and cooked food. This is the second time I have been to this Perkins and had the same SUBSTANDARD service from the same waitress. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME.
HELLO PERKINS MANAGEMENT. You have a problem on your nightshift at the Venice location. I WILM NEVER COME BACK TO YOUR PERKINS, I intend to let your corporate management know about your lack of customer service. McDonalds is a more viable choice than your establishment. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate your establishment as a minus 15.
If you work late and want something to eat I recommend anything but the Venice Perkins. Don’t waste your time or...
