Smoothie King — Restaurant in Florida

I visited this smoothie king on 12/29 and unfortunately had a regrettable experience. Upon entering the establishment, I could overhear the manager, Becky conversing with another person. Becky was griping to him about how I shouldn’t be parked in the handicap parking spot in front of the store. Mind you I have a CLEARLY VISIBLE handicap tag hanging in my windshield. It is not my responsibility to correct her or explain my situation, but it is her responsibility to treat all guests with respect. Ignoring her and not saying anything, I start to walk out of the store and overhear Becky say “I’d be pissed if my mom needed that spot.” I felt disrespected and embarrassed, so I decided to call the store on my ride home and that’s when Becky proceeded to tell me that, “she was not talking about me and doesn’t have time for this” then hung up on me. Absolute disgrace to this company that I support almost daily and I will be sure to avoid this particular store...

I have been to all smoothie kings and this one by far makes the worst smoothies. Th3re all ice i think there skimping on their ingredients. I make protein shakes at home and have been for 30 years it tastes like all ice watery no flavor. I will never visit the venice one again. This is my 15th time in a year and always the same watery taste.. please leave a review if you too have experience this in the venice location. Also it's so frozen i can hold it upside down it doesn't come out. Lol no more liquid inside either. It's just pure ice with no flavor.. the girls there seemed like the were told by owner to put way too much ice. I go to others. There nothing like this.. I was going in a few times a week until I ordered an acai bowl recently. I sat down in the store to eat and notice something hard and purple in bowl. I took it to the girl and it turned out to be a few pieces of the plastic from inside the acai container it ships in had broken off and were inside my acai. I haven't been back, I could've become very ill 🤢 and there is just NO excuse. I had granola in my acai bowl as well so it's a good thing I was extra observant and noticed the plastic pieces because they could've been hard to see with the chunky granola in there. You can't be serving people food with plastic in it, crazy! Do not recommend this location! 😕
