Pete's Place North & Liquor Store — Restaurant in Florida

Sorry, if there is food here, I don't know anything about it. But, what I can say is if you just want to come by this establishment and lose your hard-earned money and be escorted out for nothing then this is your place. The worst experience, I have had in an establishment in years. I just wanted to have a drink and shoot pool. I was patted down to enter the establishment which is fine; however, now thinking about it I do l find it a bit unusual as living in the area for years and being here multiple times and never having that done before. Spent my hard-earned money on a couple of drinks, and got quarters to play pool at the back table. Not bothering and/ or talking to anyone. Then I'm being escorted out for doing nothing, not getting to drink all my drinks, and losing a good amount of quarters that I got to play pool. Then after getting kicked out, I went and asked the very nice guy who gave me quarters if I did anything that he found to be rude or disrespectful or if he had any issue with me and he said "no." I would have asked the nice lady who I purchased my drinks from behind the bar and given my credit card to keep a tab open but, I was kicked out for nothing. So, then I had to interact with the very disrespectful gentleman who kicked me out for no reason that I can only guess works for this establishment because I had to deal with him to pay my so-called tab. All I wanted was to play some pool have a drink or 2 in this establishment or even more so spend my very hard-earned money in this place and not be kicked out for doing absolutely nothing. 2 other people who, I don't know and didn't come in with had some issue. Security tends to stir the pot with everyone there with the locals, you’ll ask him a few times about an individual who’s always a nuisance causing trouble (advised him 3 times about the problem within that year and did NOTHING ABOUT IT) and yet has never bothered banning her until it was too late (negligence of security on multiple occasions). Need better security for sure. I’ve managed bars and not once I ever seen a security who sits back when there’s a disruptive overly inebriated individual and does nothing about it. When his job was threatened after I told him I was going to tell the manager how he had a big part to do with that fight, not only did he lie and denied it but he proceeded to tell the manager absolute made up threats “that came from me to his family” in fear he would lose his job. If you guys need real security, I have a few guys from my past bars I managed that can actually handle the job and not instigate between locals, sit back and watch until it’s too late. NEGLIGENCE OF SECURITY 1000% and the locals agreed. They need him out of there!!! Hope you guys realize having a security always on his phone (check the cameras) and not doing his job correctly will lead to disruptive behavior if it’s allowed. I had to handle the bar bully myself after she stepped forward and threatened me. She picks on the older ladies (regulars) there and yet NOTHING has been done. He refused to take care of the problem from the beginning and no one has reprimanded him. So yes. His job was threatened because of Negligence of security and he didn’t like it so I was banned indefinitely. I did the regulars and newbies a favor. I’ll take that....

Aways wanted to step in and check this place out well after last night I think that will be my last ever to go back .it was a Monday night and to get padded down by a bouncer or private security made me feel very uncomfortable and undetermined to even walk in I was with my brother stopped for one beer and never in 30yrs going out in tampa ever being padded down to walk in a bar felt like I was at the airport and going through check in .not to mention the girl behind the bar was more intent to some other guy and we waited for service at bar then asked us for credit card to keep tab open seems she only asked us not other patrons at bar cause I watched her .I'm in the restaurant business and that would not happen in my place .I asked her if this was normal and there procedures from getting padded down to enter and bad service at bar .A new customer should be treated ias or even more to as a regular but not so in this establishment just wanted you to know how this experience was And I know you don't really care or even will reach out to...
