Good Food – Looks Like A Locals Favorite We just happened to be driving around and saw this place and said – let’s try it for lunch. They have a large outside seating area and a bar that appears to go from the inside to the outside. A little too cool for us that day so we sat inside. Clearly a local hangout as we got ‘the look’ when we entered, but all was good. Lots of booths inside, a pool table and TV’s for sports fans. We started off with drinks – Diet Coke and Amber Bock tap beer (both $3.50). We started with a Beach Bread appetizer. As we’ve learned, Beach Bread is a very popular south Florida snack so we had to try it. We ordered the Single Portion ($3.95) and a Double is available for $5.95. The kitchen made a mistake and gave us a Double, a good mistake for us. Buttery, garlicky french bread is topped with bacon bits, real – not the hard bits, blue cheese crumbles, some herbs and more cheese, melted under a broiler and sooo delicious. This is garlic bread crack! My wife ordered the 2 Crab Cakes appetizer ($9.95). Homemade, fried perfectly, loaded with crab meat. The tasty aioli ribbon was a perfect topping. My wife is a fan and she knows crab cakes. I try nachos everywhere so I ordered the Nacho Grande appetizer ($10.95). One great nacho plate and grande indeed! Flavorful ground beef and all the good toppings and plenty of each. Check out my photo! Two people could easily have this for lunch. A blackboard shows daily specials. What a great find. We’ll stop in again.

I mistaken Pickle-N-Pub for the fish restaurant, I was going to the restaurant just a stone throw away. When I walked in, I knew it was where I wanted to stay for dinner. Sue was very attentive to my needs, showing me they had a fish selection too. I got the Fisherman's Catch and was rewarded with a delicious meal. She asked what I wanted to drink, so I said, "What on tap?" One of the choices was Amber Bock, I hadn't had one in years, and I jumped on the chance having two. The atmosphere is great. Oldies were playing on the intercom, adding to my enjoyment. I highly recommend popping into 15455 Old McGregor Bolivard, Fort Myers, Florida.

Dive Bar with flair! Went on a Friday evening to catch up with friends. We had no expectations and no idea what we picked. We came in with an outdoor live band playing, but were still able to find an indoor space that was quiet enough to talk while still hearing the music. The crowd is definitely older, like 60s and 70s, but that did not deter our little misfit group of people in the 20s to 40s. We were able to get gluten free vegetarian options as well. Not certified, but definitely accommodating! The portions were filling for sure! The service was great! Will probably go again!!!

It doesn't matter who works here anymore or who doesn't, this place is worse than Pine Pointe, and the owners and a lot of the customers here are clearly proud of it. No wheelchair people allowed, no persons with autism, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, and so forth allowed, all bartenders that work here are forbidden by the owners here to have friends, especially that they met at previous bars and restaurants.

Florida is supposed to be a place where everyone is nice to one another and where everyone gets along with everyone else. Pickle n Pub is totally anti-Florida, anti-Floridian, and anti-south.

Bartenders, do NOT get a job here under any circumstances, because the owners enforce their rules of no handicapped persons, no single men, and no friends from previous bars hard! You have friends that have any kind of handicap, whether it be autism, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, if you have friends that are in wheelchairs, and you work at the Pickle n Pub, the owners will never allow you to allow your friends to come visit you at work at the Pickle n Pub. Same with all single men and any friends you made at a previous place. If you allow any such persons to come visit you at work at Pickle n Pub, the owners would fire you and deny you your letter of recommendation. And numerous other bartenders and even a few general managers here have been fired and denied their letters of recommendation by the owners for allowing handicapped people, wheelchair bound people, single/unaccompanied guys, and people they know from elsewhere, to visit them at the Pickle n Pub, and only about 1/5th of them actually have had success in getting a job at another bar without a letter of recommendation.

All guys that are single or alone, as well as all guys that try to go here to visit a certain bartender, are automatically labeled stalkers and creeps, and are banned at will. They don't care if any particular bartender took you to Disney world or is about to take you to Disney world.

Pickle n Pub is also a very common hangout spot for wicked motorcycle gangs, including the Outlaws and Warlocks.

These people compliment and encourage guys for throwing single guys into the mud for socializing with any couple and the owners were overheard multiple times talking about shooting, as they said it, "any single man they see mingling with any couples regardless of all circumstances."

This place is a friendship destroyer.

These people belong back in DuPage County, Illinois, where there is no social atmosphere, where the entire community is nothing but discrimination, where nobody ever makes friends and in fact friendships technically are even illegal in DuPage County, Illinois, and where all interactions are strictly for business only. Also, Illinois as a state deliberately flouts the Americans with Disabilities Act, community and all, and services for persons with disabilities are in fact worse in Illinois than they are in Mississippi. In Illinois, people in wheelchairs get overturned in public places all the time, and it rarely gets reported.

And watch out for other reviewers who accuse my review and the two others of being fake, they've overturned and assaulted people in wheelchairs and persons with autism, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, and such who knows how many times before. Pride in discrimination, as well as deceit, is as much their mission as it is the...

Terrible experience, never again! Used to be better before Kitty worked there but wasn't ever exactly the best, then Kitty turned the place completely over, and now it's a place of brutal discrimination and drama. To make matters worse, she has another toxic person, Joanna, from out of state, involved in her drama.

Kitty repeatedly resurrects the same drama, over and over, like a broken record, over other peoples' mistakes, including things that everyone is tired of hearing about. And although Kitty reportedly no longer works here, she has moulded Pickle n Pub into a place where nobody with any type of handicap or disability, and no single guys, are allowed any longer. Kitty has done this to about half the bars she has worked at since the pandemic. She was supposed to have moved to Atlanta a long time ago.

It has been commented in a number of Facebook posts that Joanna, whom is last known living in Asheville, North Carolina, typed a number of bomb threat notes while in high school and then framed several male students for her notes. It has been commented on multiple websites, including Facebook, that Joanna framed numerous more male students at the high school she attended for the many bomb threats that occured throughout Chicago during the fall of 2001. lt also has been commented on Facebook that Joanna is known to bully people of color and that have disabilities and has broken up entire families with her gossip.

The present owners continue to carry the personalities of both Joanna and Kitty as if they both still worked here, and like Kitty, the owners and almost everyone that goes here also brings up the same drama like a broken record about other peoples' mistakes to where they expect everyone to be absolutely perfect. The Pickle n Pub needs new owners. The current ones can take their business to Toronto, where it's actually illegal for guys to be out in public unaccompanied. And like all in their right mind, I also refuse to go here again until this place has new owners.

At the same time, Bethany is moving to California any month, and she is putting heavy iron walls up towards those she knows she's leaving behind when her and her husband move to California, for she knows she won't ever make it back to visit...
