Updated review based on new changes!! Qdoba contacted us about our previously poor experience and did their best to make things right with two free entrees. Since I added this comment, the restaurant has steered away from their extremely small portions that led me to review them poorly in the first place. They are back on track and providing good quality food without sacrificing portion sizing.
I've been a HUGE Qdoba fan since the location opened in South Tampa. The quality of the ingredients has always been very fresh and flavorful. And the portions have always exceeded my expectations. The experience that I had today at the Riverview 301 location was extremely disappointing. I ordered a salad and it started with the smallest portion of lettuce you could imagine. If I were to guess, it was probably about 3/4 of a cup. The rest of the ingredients were given very scarely as well. And I also noticed that they cut the size of the brownies in half.
To me, it seems like this location has gone extremely cheap on preparing the food, especially by selling a tiny "half-brownie" in place of a full-size brownie.
Overall, the quality of the food has also gone downhill. The pork was a bit fatty (which never happens) and my salad didn't taste like a salad at all because of the minimal portion of lettuce that was given for a salad.
I'm really disappointed to see how Qdoba has changed. It is typically one of my favorite quick-service restaurants, but this experience makes me question future dining experiences. If the employees are being trained to give less than an actual serving of romaine lettuce on a salad, then why would I want to go there if I really want a salad?
If this location wants to stay in business, I'd encourage them to keep the portions small on the expensive proteins and stop skimping on the cheap ingredients (lettuce) that makes a...
Read more5/29/23Customer service is still the worst. Literally after taking a year off thinking things could have changed at this location still hasn't. I was asking questions about the menu and they were so unbothered the customer service people. Couldn't answer any of my questions focus on the orders that came in via DoorDash Uber eat so whatever. There was no greeting, and while telling her I want queso on my chicken bowl she put the spicy case on there and it's extremely spicy. I didn't ask for that I said queso. I think they really need to take parts of action at this location and management needs to intervene.
So I got there at 8:40 and was told it to be 10 minutes for brown rice waited 10 minutes then the lady told me it would be 20 minutes... customer service 2 thumbs down they could have told me that 10 minutes ago and I could have made it to Moe's where they have food and don't waste your time there!! Never spend your money where they don't respect your time. The manager did offer me a free entree the next day. However today was a day I wanted to eat there. How you run out of rice of all things!! Poor management. wasted my gas won't support this business again. Wheb people hungry and they show up to your restaurant I don't care if it's a minute before you close you should still have food available! Needless to say everything close at 9:00 I didn't get to eat tonight thanks to lack of communication. How simple was that to tell me. Smh second never trust her place that doesn't respond to one star reviews they don't have your best interest in heart!! Seems as if the owner only cares about the 5 stars however your business gives 0 stars...
Read moreI recently visited the Chipotle location in Riverview, FL, and had a mixed experience. I ordered a Brisket Birria Bowl with sour cream, salsa verde, guacamole, shredded cheese, and grilled veggies. My girlfriend chose the Grilled Adobo Chicken Bowl with white rice, black beans, pico de gallo, pickled jalapenos, and cilantro vinaigrette. Unfortunately, she wanted some of the grilled veggies, but they were out. Instead of trying to get more, the server simply said they didn't have any. From the beginning, the service was disappointing. We were rushed, and it felt like the staff was more interested in adding what they wanted rather than listening to our requests. They were unfriendly and seemed like they didn't want to be bothered. The one bright spot was the manager who cashed us out; she was very sweet. However, the rest of the team that night did not meet the same standard. Despite the poor service, the food itself was delicious and fresh, which has been a consistent positive aspect of our visits. This isn't the first time we've encountered rude staff at this location. While the quality of the food has kept us coming back, we're starting to wonder if it's enough to outweigh the consistently negative service. It's really disappointing, as we enjoy the meals here but may reconsider future visits if things...
