Marshalls — Local services in Riverview

Not too bad of a store. I remember one time I was there and this woman, few women, I don't quite remember were up near one of the registers talking extremely loud. I talk a bit louder than most by nature just because of some things, but I make an active effort to modify my volume in public, etc. This isn't besides the point. I'm not going to go on a judgemental tirade, but it looks like I will. They were just LOUD and while I sometimes put in an earbud with music to calm my nervousness it was irritating because I'm pretty sure most folks weren't there trying to listen in on that conversation. I could be wrong, but they may have not even been wearing masks. Regardless, this Marshall's is nearby and it's not too bad. Aside from the selection of clothes for men, I'd say that the shoes are a bit "lacking". Also, an important factor in my shopping experience is whether or not I'm asked about applying for a card. I fully understand that this is part of their job, but the one's that get to me are the persistent ones. There was this one young lady who was persistent, but it was in good nature and I respect that. Ask me once, shame on me. Ask me twice, shame on me again, I guess. All-in-all, this Marshall's isn't...

To be honest, first and foremost, this is a smaller Marshalls store but it has lots of great items. However, it could use an upgrade with the organization of things, especially the products where the makeup, creams, perfumes and hair products are. A lot of the items marked for clearance are opened, broken, used, and it's always a mess. I don't believe people would actually spend money on items that thousands of people have touched, so it's best to throw those away. On the brighter side, there are always nice clothes items, they are doing better with maintaining appropriate pieces for the weather here in Florida. Although we have a cold front here and there, even if they sell long sleeve items like sweaters, cardigans or jackets, it's still nice enough to wear indoors for work and whatnot if you get cold. For a smaller store they still have divisions for shoes, cosmetics, hair, a dressing room, socks, undergarments, kitchen items, candles, exercise equipment, bathroom items, small furniture, children's clothes, men's section, and even a pets section. I'm always finding good times...

This store has excellent customer service, the manager is very personable, they follow Covid regulations and the lines are very fast. I gave this a three star because the selection of clothes are horrible every time I try to shop here for clothes and they now leave the shoes in boxes which makes for a horrible display that I end up just walking past what might be a very good selection of shoes. The only thing I can shop in this store for is cosmetics and household goods but I find myself driving all the way to the Brandon location to get everything that I need as a one stop shop unless I need something immediately but it's very frustrating this store which is closest to my neighborhood never has a good selection. I've lived in Riverview for 5 years hoping this store would get better because I love the customer service at this store but...
