Update 10/17/2023 So I stopped in this evening to order supper. I ordered Krab Rangoons which were half empty and overcooked and crunchy. It’s a good thing he said he was going to give them to us free for the amount of money we spent. And free 2 liter for the long wait. Chicken Lomein that they didn’t season properly. It looked and tasted like they were using just a splash of sauce to barely change the color of the noodles. The vegetables in it weren’t cooked enough ,at all almost. Hardly any chicken at all. I ordered the chicken wings with the general Tso sauce. I received “fried chicken wings “ extra crispy and no Tso sauce. I ordered 2 Shrimp with Broccoli, extra extra extra spicy. Not the first bit of spice at all. Steamed Dumplings which my husband said they were ok. I really don’t like paying and wasting $58.05 for” food “ that wasn’t even edible. No flavor and definitely NOT WHAT I ORDERED LET ALONE WORTH THE MONEY. I have watched this place go downhill every time we use them. I called shortly after making plates. I explained that I had just been in and what I had ordered. Explained that no spice , No General Tso sauce or anything. I was told, oh , sorry. I told him that this was probably going to be the LAST TIME USING THEM. I was hung up on. If you decide to use this so called Chinese Food place , BEWARE!!! Check your food BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!! But I’d advise you to find elsewhere to eat. Unfortunately, there aren’t many Good Chinese Food options left here in Manatee County. Asia Restaurant and The Lantern Restaurant are gone after several decades of Wonderful Food and Service, sadly. But this family business has reached its expiration date for us.

Expensive and food wasn't so good this time. Only thing that had flavor was General Tao's Chicken. Even Crab Rangoon was either old or they overcooked them, they were practically empty. My husband and I love your food, hospitality, passion and pride! we stopped in a few weeks ago and dined in. You went above and beyond to go off the menu to make whatever we would enjoy most. You even offered to make authentic Kung Pow instead of the American version that you normally serve, as well as created a dish using white chicken meat. Your fried rice and egg roll was delicious with chunks of quality pork as well as your wonton soup, just like how they serve it in New York. Many years ago, there was a restaurant where the owners moved from Manhattan and we were very loyal, but they sold and now it's not the same. Your food was definitely the closest to New York style that I can recall..as moved to FL a while ago...but still visit family and eat great food. If only you those handmade very thick doughy style steamed dumplings that we talked about....hint hint....LOL. I love this place and I love the food and eat here on average once a month. I follow the rules. I placed my order online way ahead of when I want to pick it up. I placed an order today before 5:00 p.m. and was told to be ready at 5:30. I arrived at 5:45 and paid for my order. I was told that it would be right out. After waiting another 15 minutes I asked for my money back.. the child at the register went to the back for 10 minutes and then came back and asked me if I wanted my food or my money back. I told her I wanted my money back so I could go home. She disappeared into the back again for 10 more minutes then came out and handed me a bag of food with no further comment. What am I supposed to do? I have always enjoyed your food but this is no way to treat your customers. If I order online you tell me it's going to take 2 hours that's fine. But don't tell me it's going to take 30 minutes when it's going to take an hour. Now I have a bag of food that I have no interest in Eating and I'm out my money. I would like a refund for...
