It took me a lot to write this review, but enough is enough. After the 5th time of just nasty, indifferent behavior, I felt the need to write this. Ricos is pizza is above average but there attitude and response to concerns is absolutely despicable.
1st problem: our orders were wrong several times and when I called to explain my issue, just like rico prefers, i got hung up on by some aloof female who probably didn't even know she was working.
2nd problem: I have a 16 month old and when I order for delivery, I have just one request: CALL ME AND ILL COME OUT. I even asked, "if this is a problem, I'll come pick it up" "oh its no problem, sir" and then when the 16 year old shows up, he rings my bell and when I asked him if he knew he should call 1st, he looks down at his paperwork and with a nasty cackle, he says "oh yea, my bad" So then I proceed to call AGAIN, just like ricos prefers, this time the hang up was started with an uncontrollable laugh.
3rd problem: After the 1st 2 problems, I figured, let me give them another try, things happen, BUT this time, I'm going to pick my food up to avoid these problems....FAT chance. I'm told "your pizza will be ready in 20-25 minutes" so I get there in 30 minutes and im told "your pizza is next out" so After waiting 20 minutes, I asked "can you please check on my pizza, I have a cranky 16 month old in the car" whenfrom. The kitchen i hear, "yea. Next time ill bring my Magic wand to make your pizza faster"
Absolutely despicable! Now I'm not going to lie one bit, I lost my temper a bit and called the guy a jerko**.
Having good pizza isn't enough, learn customer service before everyone figures out how miserable you all...

The 1st time I called, a female took my order, said OK, then put me on hold and I waited 15 min, before I hung up and called again. This time is was a male, and I told him a female took my order, and he just started the whole thing over. He took my order and said to pay the driver, this was at 7:50 pm, at 8:20 I called to check the status, No answer. I called back every 10 min until 8:55 -NO ANSWER, I left 1 voice mail, then I got in my car and DROVE over to you. Thinking it must be super busy since no one answered the phone. I pulled in and 2 or 3 employees were standing there...no Customers anywhere, I asked if the phone was broken, I just got blank stares. I asked about my order since it was closing time, they said it was our for delivery!! I did not even know that you outsource your deliveries, the poor driver got a piece of my mind, but did get a tip since IT WASN'T HER DOING! I called the next day (yesterday), the manager would not give me his name, until asking over 5 times! I started explaining and he immediately says "I wasn't here", I said that's fine, but ARE YOU THE MANAGER? I gave him my phone number and a chance to fix this somehow. He chose not to respond, so I am writing this review for Horrible customer service from the employees Monday night and a Manager that takes NO responsibility for his crew. Read moreUsually there are minor issues but tonight's order took the cake! As my family is eating I am having to cook my pizza the rest of the way through. I already have a note on my account to make sure they actually cut my pizza (yes this has happened) and to double check the order bc I am gluten free and my family is not (they have mixed up the toppings before on the pizzas) and now I had to call and request a note to actually cook my pizza and to ask where my red sauce was. Hey at least I got a credit for my red sauce! I think it's time to find another spot. What a bummer!
update I got a response as you all can see. I appreciate the response but would appreciate it if you read my post properly and you would of seen that I got a refund for the red sauce I ordered that they forgot not for the under cooked gluten free pizza that I had to handle myself at home. I appreciate the pizza cooks explanation and your swiftness to see the review and ask your team but sadly we won't be returning. I shouldn't have to request so many notes to ensure I have a cooked meal that is what I actually ordered and decently cut, especially when my order was close to $50. I understand that this pandemic has been insanely rough but just admit when you are wrong, apologize without passing blame or watering it down and attempt to make it right vs shrugging it off and inviting me back to see if it all happens again.
