I’m a DoorDash driver, and this Rosatis will never see my business again. I got an order for Rosati’s tonight, and for Rosatis, you can’t see the order, only a customer name. I asked for her order and got a stack of food that I was assured belonged to my customer, and I drove to her house. Lo and behold, I get to her house, and she told me that I was given the wrong order.
So, I called and said I was coming back for my correct order, and they begged me to take this other DoorDash order to its correct customer, who I was not assigned. The employee, Rachel, BEGGED me to help because otherwise they’d have to remake it all and find a new DoorDash driver and the customer could easily wait a really long time to get his food. I felt bad for her, so I agreed, even though I’d get no money for this. They gave me this guy’s address, and I promised to deliver it once I took my actual customer her food.
So I go back, get my customer’s food, take it to her, and then head for this other customer’s house. I’m texting him to update him and apologizing on behalf of DoorDash and explaining that his order wasn’t initially mine, but I was on my way with it because I wanted him to get it quickly and not wait for new food to be made.
He told me it had been a really long time since his order was placed, so I apologized again. When I reached his house, I handed him his food, apologized some more, and encouraged him to call Rosati’s and complain because this should never have occurred.
This is when it gets good.
He told me that he already called Rosati’s and that THEY SAID that I had the correct order the entire time, and that I messed up, and that I was the reason it was so late.
So I explained to him again that this was never my order and I just did this, for free, because we felt bad for him. He doesn’t believe me and closes the door in my face. (By the way, I acknowledge he has every right to be angry, and I’m in no way saying this is his fault. I was just frustrated to get the brunt of his anger when all I did was try to help.)
Anyways, Rosati’s had the nerve to throw me under the bus AFTER I did a favor for them that they begged for, that I gained nothing from, and in fact LOST money from doing because I cancelled the rest of my shift to fix this for them. I’m never making this mistake again.
I don’t plan to pick up any more orders...
Read moreI tend to give the benefit of the doubt when someone has a bad day, but an older gentleman glared at me while walking up to the store. Then he went to the back of the store but when. I went to go inside, the door was locked (this was around 315 on a Friday). I figured he could be in the restroom and working alone so I went to grab a water from the Starbucks next door. As I’m walking out, this man comes into Starbucks to scold me for parking where I was. When I said I was waiting for the pizza shop door to be unlocked and that I wanted a water while waiting, he put his hand in my face and said the store is too busy for this “nonsense”. I went to put the water in my car thinking he would have the store unlocked but he didn’t. I sat in my car for a couple minutes hoping he’d be willing to take my order. When he came out of the back room, he began to display the middle finger as he walked out, locked the door, and went to the nail salon. I gave up and while I was waiting for cars to pass by so I could pull out, I see him shouting and waving his middle finger at me. I understand the store has a parking spot for customers only but the only shop with a customer was Starbucks. The nail salon was empty and I didn’t see a single customer during the time I had to go through this nonsense attempt to go into the shop. The man said 15 people complained about having to walk from the 7-11 next door yet there was 4 cars in total in the parking lot. The man clearly was having a bad day and when you’re an older white man, there’s a lot of self righteous behaviors. After reading reviews before posting this, it seems like I was better off ordering from a dollar store brand Pizza Hut vs Rosatis. Take your business somewhere that doesn’t have a deranged older man serving...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would. After an 8 hour training my team and I came here for dinner. About halfway through our dinner one of my colleagues noticed a large German cockroach crawling on the wall above the kitchen. Within a few seconds my other colleague looked down just in time to see another roach crawling across her plate and then onto our table. A waitress came out and killed both roaches in front of us then invited us to return to our seat and finish our meal. When we expressed our dismay and disappointment we were told we would not receive a refund for our food. After a bit of back and forth they agreed to refund ONE meal. The manager admitted knowing they had a pest control problem and an exterminator had been hired. I again expressed my disappointment and reminded him he was admitting they fed us food from a kitchen that was infested with huge roaches. He refused to refund our money and insisted we should still pay for the disgusting food we had a few bites of before the roaches stopped by to introduce themselves. It was an absolute spectacle to listen to the manager explain why my party should pay for food when the place is crawling with roaches. He then agreed to refund 2 of our meals but refused to refund the drinks we didn’t get around to drinking. After a bit more back and forth he agreed to refund the drinks as well. I am an entrepreneur and the way they handled this was beyond disgusting. The management and the team here are in desperate need of training. At no point did we receive any apologies nor did anyone seem shocked that roaches crawled right up to our table and were crawling above the kitchen. This place is disgusting! Please avoid eating here unless you like having a side...
