Me and my fiance are both foodies and critics when it comes to breakfast. We have been to many, if not all, breakfast places in the Lee county area. Our top place has always been Bullig, and on days they are not open, we tend to roam around for another good spot. Today was one of those days.
When we arrived, it was packed, and there were people waiting prior, so we put in our name for 2. Wait time was about six minutes. We were then guided to our table, and Jessica greeted us immediately. We got water and coffee to start. Let me just say. The moment you taste the coffee, you know it is freshly ground. Best regular coffee I've had in a while. That gave us high hopes that were not tarnished.
We ordered two entries for each of us. The wait time did take about thirty minutes, but we were happy with waiting since it was busy, and again, coffee was refilled, probably 6 times by Jessica and other staff members. It was a great team effort.
My fiance got the breakfast wrap and the buttermilk pancakes, while I ordered the apple walnut french toast club and farmhouse house favorite. We both agreed that the potatoes on the side that were given needed a little bit more seasoning but were substantial. He very much enjoyed his breakfast wrap. The cheese and egg were cooked well. The pancakes were 10 out of 10 delicious; nice, fluffy, flavorful. I really did enjoy the French toast club. However, the chicken and biscuit I had in the farmhouse entree was a home run. Chicken was moist on the inside, really crispy, with really good breading. I'm really excited to try their other fried chicken dishes. And the biscuit was buttery and not dry at all. The poached egg was perfect.
We got a to go box and the bill. We couldn't believe our eyes as the coffee and the four entrees altogether were only $48. We spoke to the manager and complimented them on their establishment, newly opened 8 weeks ago, as well as Jessica, who is a wonderful attentive server. We are in the service industry and haven't had great service in a while. We are younger, so some people assume that we may not tip that well. Thus, sometimes, we are not given satisfactory service. We appreciate Jessica for treating us like she would have her own family. Thank you. We gave her a fifty percent tip and were definitely coming back.
Please try this place out. The best place in North Fort Myers...
Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing experience at Rosie's Breakfast Cafe yesterday. I was traveling from Miami with a group of 6 of us. We came in, wrote down our names and we ended up waiting for 30+ minutes despite being told it would only take 25 minutes to be seated. During our wait, we observed around 15 people being seated before us, even though they arrived long after us.
When we were finally seated, we were given a small, cramped table at the back of the restaurant. This was the same table used for parties of two, which was unsuitable for our group of tall and large individuals. We clearly expressed our discomfort, the wait time. and the kind of treatment we received. Despite our concerns and requests for a more appropriate seating arrangement, the manager, a blonde lady with a Russian accent, offered no solutions. There was an empty table nearby for a large party that could have been used for us, but the saff gave conflicting stories about it being reserved for parties of 15 or 20. This inconsistency of stories made it clear that the management was dishonest and unaccommodating with us.
Additionally, the two hosts were unfriendly, judgy, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere for us. The restaurant was uncomfortably hot, as if the AC wasn't functioning properly. The overall vibe was outdated, and the patrons seemed to stare at us, likely because we look different than the regular crowd that frequents this establishment. It felt more like a nursing home than a breakfast cafe.
After enduring 30 minutes of poor service and unaddressed concerns, we decided to leave. I would not recommend Rosie's Breakfast Cafe to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience. I felt a certain judgy treatment that I had never felt before in any other place.
We ended up eating at First Watch and had the most welcoming experience, we ordered their amazing Million Dollar Bacon, French Toasts, delicious coffee and most importantly, they treated us with respect, dignity and kindness... and we did not have to wait 30+ minutes. They accommodated us in a table of 8 (we were...
Read moreMy husband and I just had the pleasure of dining at Rosie’s Breakfast Cafe in North Fort Myers, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a delightful Saturday morning breakfast.
We were seated right away and served water and coffee immediately. We didn’t have to wait long for our breakfast either. The food at Rosie’s was very good. I opted for the Veggie, Oh Veggie Omelet, made gluten-free, and it was bursting with fresh vegetables and cooked just right. My husband enjoyed the Belgian Waffle Combo with blueberries, which was light, fluffy, and topped with sweet, fresh blueberries. We also tried the Biscuits and Gravy, which were savory and comforting, exactly what we needed to start our day.
However, the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly our waitress, Jessica. She was incredibly efficient, polite, and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Jessica truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. Her warm and sweet demeanor made us feel right at home, and her genuine care and dedication to her work shone through in every interaction. It’s rare to find such a genuinely caring and dedicated server, and Jessica exemplifies what great service is all about. She made our visit to Rosie’s Breakfast Cafe truly special, and we can’t praise her enough.
Overall, Rosie’s Breakfast Cafe in North Fort Myers is a gem. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone in the area. We highly recommend Rosie’s for a memorable breakfast experience, and a special shoutout to Jessica for making our visit truly...
