Been going to Russo's for many years. This time they failed me. Ordered a Russo's with cold cuts shaved. When I got my sandwich there was maybe 1/4 of Meat that is normally in it, Sandwiches should Always contain the same amount of cold cuts, clearly in my case I did not. Keep everything you make consistent, clearly you are Not. I brought my sandwich over to the cashier to show the owner, and All he did was shrug his shoulders, never did he apologize or even offered to make me another sandwich with the normal amount of cold cuts or even attempted to involve the Manager or Owner, while the one guy behind where the Sandwiches are placed when ready, just stared. Wow, how much more Unprofessional, Rude and Not caring whatsoever, if I wanted a sandwich with No Cold cuts from the beginning, I would have asked with No Meat. My sandwich was mainly a bunch of lettuce, 2 small pieces of tomato and mostly Bread. Quality of these Sandwiches have gone down hill. $9 for a Bread, Lettuce and barely any tomatoes. Definitely Nothing like the Rosso's I used to know. Bathrooms are extremely small with Only 1 Stall. Russo's Management, start taking pride with the service and quality of the Food you All prepare and serve, because its gone downhill. Quit the Greed and come to the realization, you are losing Loyal customers. Care about your Customers and what you serve them. Take Pride in Everything you make and you're customer service, customers should come 1st, obviously we don't. Employees are Not Friendly or even Welcoming. Our Experience is Far from how it...
Read moreI was in the area and went to this place today based off of all of the 5-star reviews on Google. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I found nothing special about the sandwich that I had. I ordered a Russo’s special (ham, salami, and cheese) and overall it wasn’t very good. The bread was soft but very dry and lacked flavor. The ham was ok and thick sliced so that was nice. The salami tasted more like bologna. It came with lettuce, tomato, chopped onions, and a pickle spear inside the sandwich (that’s a first). I asked for Mayo and mustard on the sandwich and they gave me packets to put on the sandwich myself. The same for the oil & vinegar (which was actually just two containers of oil even though I asked for o & v). I found this very strange for a sub shop. On a positive, the people behind the counter were very nice and friendly. I see that this restaurant has been open for many years so they must’ve been doing something right at some point. I also know that COVID has been hard on everyone, including the restaurant industry. But if my visit today was any indication of how things have changed, they might be better off going back to the old ways of doing things. Sorry but I’ll be skipping this place next time I’m...
Read moreRusso's his hands down the best around... the sandwiches they provide are so deliciously unique they cannot even be compared to other subs. If somebody asks you to get them a sub... You can bring them a sub... But if somebody asks you to bring them a Russo and you bring them a regular sub sandwich from anywhere else.... be prepared to get hit with a sub sandwich ! Russo's has several locations around town but this is the only one with a drive-thru window.
The only warning I have... Once you eat a Russo's sandwich..... you will now be a lifelong addict with an incurable addiction. Thank goodness Russo's is there Monday through Saturday to supply your habit !
On Saturday make sure to buy a lot of sandwiches for football Sunday because they are closed.... and it is heartbreaking to drive to Russo on Sunday and realize that.
Just needed to make an addition to this. Unfortunately, all the locations except the military trail location in West Palm Beach have been closed.
It has a drive-thru, but do yourself a favor and go in and smell the wonderful smells inside.
Even when I'm the only customer there and there's no one in the Drive-Thru I go inside just for...
