They renovated and I am here for my follow up review, tried the mansaf and kebab platter , amazing food man , truly commendable for the pricing .Tarboosh Restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience that beautifully blends authentic Middle Eastern flavors with heartfelt hospitality. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine smiles that instantly made us feel at home.
The ambience is charming and thoughtfully curated — traditional décor, soft lighting, and pleasant music create a cozy yet elegant atmosphere perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. It truly felt like stepping into a little slice of the Middle East.
As for the food — absolutely phenomenal. Every dish we tried was packed with bold, aromatic flavors. The hummus was incredibly smooth, the grilled meats were tender and perfectly seasoned, and the fresh-baked pita was warm and comforting. You can tell that everything is made with love and authenticity.
What really elevates the experience is the exceptional service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and eager to share recommendations or explain dishes to those unfamiliar with the cuisine. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both culinary excellence and such genuine care for their guests.
Highly recommend Tarboosh to anyone looking for delicious food, beautiful ambiance, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait...
Read moreFantastic food and mint lemon drink. Love the atmosphere with Arabic music in the background, choices of table or sofa booths, long curtains hanging on walls, TVs playing American movies with Arabic subtitles. Had the stuffed grape leaves and it was a mound of them. Not 6 typical sized. These were smaller, 1 or 2 bite each, stacked beyond what just 2 people could ever eat. The humus was fresh and the Arabic bread was thin and light tasting so your tatse buds gather all the great hummus.it could have ended there but.. Ended with lamb shawarma (choice of ala cart or as a meal). Just the "sandwhich" for me. Kafta meal for the other. The shawarma was phenomenal, a bit of char to the lamb and a well balance of yogurt sauce. The kafta was reported as great but I didnt tatse it myself. I was stuffed and still half the serving of grape leaves and half the kafta had to go home. After that why not a 5? Upon entering a man who must be an owner or regular was smoking a cigarette. This is a hookah lounge. There was a steady crowd, mostly young men who came in and after awhile the cigarette smoke mixed with the hookah smoke. Still, it seriously dampens a meal time with cigarettes. Because hookah is fruit or herbs, and not smoke, that is okay. Cigs? Not cool, but not gonna stop me from going again. Great little middle east market...
Read moreThe food is decent but HIGHLY over priced. The service is extremely slow. The portions are tiny. Server clearly doesn’t want to be here or serve. The 20$ platter only has 3 PIECES OF MEAT that are VERY thin. The burger is less than half an inch and BURNT. The shawarma is 10$ and they stuff it with fillers leaving a THIN and SMALL piece of meat that’s also BURNT. The music is loud, very poor remixes and repeats over and over again. The inside is unclean the tables are developing mold, the walls have paint stripping off and bugs constantly coming to the food. This place cuts corners at every opportunity to save money and still they charge outrageous prices. The only things worth getting are the freshly squeezed orange juice and the French fries, that’s it. As if this wasn’t enough they charge a SERVICE FEE of 4% on any and all transactions. Highway robbery in broad daylight covered by the...
