Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Lakeland

Usually I dont go out of my way to post reviews online about restaurants. However, I will make Pizza Hut located on 3111 US hwy 98 S #116 Lakeland FL, 33803. My special guest today.

On Saturday August 23, 2025 we ordered a total of 3 pizza's (2 Large Pepperoni Pizzas and 1 Meat Lovers Pizza).

We made the order online. While making the order, we noticed that there was an issue with their system. The system kept booting us off, and unchecking items in which we selected.

Finally the order went thru, but the order came out incorrectly as a result.

The pizza's were dry, burned(overcooked) and looked like they had been sitting in the warmer for an extended period of time.

We were given 2 Cheese Pizzas with Burnt cheese toppings. In fact it looked like they held back on Cheese. The 1 meat lovers was burned as well.

We attempted to bring the pizzas back. We had spoken with 2 managers that night that were very rude. They had nonchalant attitudes and they didn't even try to make things right. We offered to bring the pizza's back and they kept pushing the narrative that nothing could be done.

We have wrote complaints and even went far as speak with the General Manager(David) in efforts to resolve this issue and we havent gotten no where.

When speaking to store level management they told us, that the General Manager would stand with their decision not to make things right.

Everybody whom we spoke to had really nasty attitudes. This is very unacceptable

My daughter birthday was Saturday its sad that she didnt even get to enjoy the pizza we bought for her birthday.

The burnt and dry pizza that we were given, I would not have gave that out to any stray dogs in the street.

Honestly I feel that if we were a different race, this issue would have been resolved quickly without any issues at all.

We didnt try to get our money back. All we wanted was fresh food. We had the receipt, and offered to bring the food back immediately. Its just unreal how everyone at this location treated us so Nasty. They basically forced us to keep Burnt/Overcooked food that really wasnt the right order anyway.

Stay away from this location...

Went in there for a pick up. My food was already ready. There was 5 other people there waiting. No one would come up to the counter. When I asked a girl that was making pizza if she could just grab my order cause it was already paid for because I ordered online. She says you have to wait for the guy to come up and do it. And he was no where in sight. Myself and another girl kept calling out for him but he wouldnt respond. The girl said he was in the office that was by the counter and he wouldnt come out. Then a delivery man came in and I asked him if he could get the guy to come to the counter so he could just give me my order that was right in front of the counter in the warmer cause it was already paid for. So the nice delivery man grabbed my ordered for me. I waited there for over 20minutes without anyone coming to the counter. There was also other people that was there who was there before me, that was waiting longer than me. This place was completely wrong for making people wait for such a long time.. how can you run a business and not have anyone at the counter and making people wait for long periods of time. I'm thankful for the delivery man. He was the only person who actually cared enough to help me out. I'm completely disappointed in pizza hut everyone there was completely rude. Expect the delivery man. You really need to learn how to run a business the right way. And have better customer service. . I definitely will never go back to that pizza hut. I will drive the extra distance, to have better...

On Dec 4th at approximately 5:30 I ordered 2 med pizzas one of which was a pretzel piggy. However after delivery I realized that I did not get a pretzel piggy ,so I called and was told they would send someone right out with correct pizza, however after waiting for over an hour and a half, I got a call apologizing that the delivery driver car broke down, and I would have a 20$ credit ,so tonight I decided to use it and was told 11.99 was used under my name on the same night, which is not true. I believe that they had no intention of ever giving me a 20$ credit, only credit for the pizza I never got. However I was told because of the inconvenience it would be 20$ I was made to feel like I was lying on the phone . and when I said that I wouldn't use pizza hut anymore was told well that's fine when I was told the day it was supposedly used I went on Facebook and sure enough on the same night which is funny because I told the guy when he said he could send another one that I had to go to bed, further more why would I use the credit the same night for a pizza I was already waiting for, I actually thought oh my goodness they are really sorry and care but turned out it was just bs at the time to not have to deal with...
