Salvadoran Cuisine — Restaurant in Florida

Took a bit long but no biggie. Food was tasty but the description on the menu wasn't accurate. On the top of the meals page it said everything on this page comes with rice beans and tortillas. I ordered a sampler platter which was at the bottom of that page but when it came out it didn't come with the rice or beans. Then something called "pupusas" was included in the platter description but didn't come out on the platter. When brought to the waitresses attention she had to keep going back to ask the manager or kitchen manager they told her to tell us that the menu was going to be changing and those items are no longer included. I ordered additional rice and when I told her I would like to try the "pupusas" (plural as in the menu) since they were on the description they brought out 1. Food was good, service ok, management/menu not so great. It was our first time and I think we will wait a while before trying it again.....give them time to...

I’m sad to say that I had a bad experience here 😔 I love this place and always recommend this restaurant to everyone - I’ve been coming here for years and it’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown and continue to grow but yesterday I was disappointed. The service wasn’t the best (usually is), I was charged for a pupusa de chicharrón (I never got it) and found a hair in my food. On top of that, i had to ask and ask again for more lime (a wedge of lime is not enough for salad and chirmole) and wait a bit for some salt and pepper. I was almost done with my meal (camarones empanizados) when I found the hair and let the waitress know, so she could advise the kitchen and to my surprise, I was still charged the meal. SERVICE: pretty damn standard. it's literally all you need, you'll be fine. if you worry about service being anything more than the bare minimum your opinion is invalid and your taste is probably mid anyway.

FOOD: Burrito is unfortunately kinda mid.

BUT!! Pupusas are pretty fire, they will be a lil hot so be warned.

BEVERAGES: Mora was delightful, but the horchata tasted burnt a lil like cigarettes and emotional bitterness.

FOOD (PT.2): Mondongo was an 8/10, it had a slightly red tint akin to menudo. My family said it was somewhere between (Colombian mondongo and mexican menudo)

Canoa was good, it's a Long sweet plantain looking thing(🤨) it comes with some white cream (🤔), cheese, and beans.
