Sam's New York Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

I was hopeful with this place but it was a disappointment honestly. We decided to try this place since they had a pretty good coupon sent to our home. We got a cheese pizza, garlic rolls, and a Greek salad. We called it in for pick up and the wait for 40-45 minutes. No biggie. We get there and it takes awhile to be talked to. It seems the place is under staffed. My pizza and garlic rolls were sitting on the counter ready to go. I don't understand why they don't appear to have a warmer for the pizzas...especially with how long the wait time is... but anyway, when he went to check me out, he found out no one made me a Greek salad. So he said it'll be 2 minutes. We waited and it was probably 10 or more minutes. By the time we sat in the car and checked the pizza real quick before leaving, it was just barely warm. We ended up trying a piece in the car since it definitely would be cold by the time we got home. The pizza was decent. (4/5 stars) As expected, when we got home the pizza was completely cold. We don't even live that far away. The garlic rolls were okay. (3/5 stars) The Greek salad, however, was absolutely awful. I don't know what the they did to it, but it was so bad that I just threw it out after both of us tried it. The dressing was like water. That was easily the worse salad I've ever had. I was really hoping this would be a place that I'd enjoy because I don't like eating pizza as much as my boyfriend does but would be okay with eating Greek Salad instead. We already have a place we like for pizza and Greek Salad but it isn't close to home. It really is too bad that this didn't...

Pizza here is decent. Moved from out of state and have tried about 6 places in the area. I gave it 3 stars because the pizza is always warm. I wait the time they tell me and it seems pizza has been sitting. Made the mistake this last time ordering online and the website said it would be ready in an hour. Guess they were busy. Went to supermarket then to Sams arrived 15 mins early. Called to ask about my order cause how do you know it’s ready? She was confused about it being online then asked about it when I said his long it’s been. She told me oh it just came out. So I could come down now. Being that I was already there I waited a minute before going in. Drove home, I live 5 mins away. Food was Luke warm. It would have been cold if I had waited the time the online order said it would be. I think Sam’s pizza is good when it’s hot. I have never had the pleasure of their pizza hot. FYI, if you are hoping the staff is wearing masks due to the pandemic...

OK, I,m so full I just want to sit and do nothing but I had to write this review.. I'm one of those picky New Yorkers who want their pizza the way they want their pizza. So I ordered the "Special" but I couldn't leave that alone. No. I wanted extra thin crust and instead of the Pepperoni I wanted extra Sausage. Now, on top of that I wanted it delivered. I know Sam's is busy because they have great food so when I heard that there would be an hour wait, I had no problem. I live on the edge of their delivery area and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to drive, depending on the lights. Well wasn't I surprised when the driver showed up 40 minutes later. Way ahead of schedule. So I paid for the pie and dove right in. I gave 2 slices to a friend and had 6 slices left. I wolfed down 4 leaving 2 in the box. I knew the slices won't be the same reheated, so ate them too. So now I'm stuffed and can't wait to do it again. Great Job done by all Sam's...
