What a wonderful new business Michael and Raeann have established here in Naples! This is NJ/NY style pizza--thin crust on the rounds and also for Grandma's. The pizza is made with incredible pride and is consistently good. I've been frequenting SG for several months now and its sempre buono. How nice to visit a restaurant that serves slices all day until closing! Living in NJ for 40+ years--this was the norm for 99% of pizza stores. In Naples, they are very few places to get amazing slices, at dinner time. The owners are so kind and personable and always ask how the food was--irrespective of how busy it is. Pizzas are made with full toppings--no skimping on the pepperoni. Their Grandma's pie is arguably the best pizza you will find in Naples. Fresh garlic, pesto striped over the tomato sauce & the square pie doubles for the colors of Italia! But the crust is what is so addictive on their Grandma's--the entire crust--bottom and outside, is crispy. Their cheese pies are just the right balance of crispy crust and substance for the main part of the slice and topping of mozzarella cheese. Beyond the crust, sauce makes 90% of any pizza taste--and theirs is a delicious, tasty balance of sweet and spice. Being Jersey, I like Joey's pies too, but their pie is a little light in substance. Two slices at SG is like 4 at most shops here in Naples. I appreciate their offerings and their kindness every time we come in. Give them a try--you won't be disappointed and you will keep going...
Read moreGreat pizza is finally here in Naples! Since moving here in 2015, I found myself losing my inspiration for writing reviews but after tasting the Grandma Pizza at San Giuseppe, I immediately felt the urge to tell everyone about it! I am confident I have now found the best pizza in Naples! Thank goodness the owners decided to make Naples home after many years of success in Pennsylvania.
The restaurant space is small for now but I suspect after the word gets out, they will find themselves expanding to a bigger space eventually. Online ordering is easy as pie. The orders get saved for easy reorder and you get rewarded for your first online order and every 5th.
When you arrive, you will be greeted with kindness and appreciation. Your box will be filled with warmth, bubbling cheese, hand tossed dough and fresh ingredients.
You can decide on round vs square but the best option is their infamous Grandma style which is square with the perfect dough thickness with tomato sauce and mozzarella, any toppings you desire, and pesto drizzled on top!
I have eaten here 3 times in the last week since finding this place! They also offer in-house by the slice for lunch or dinner, which I plan to take advantage of since they are just around the corner from my office. They are closed on Sundays so I am sure cravings will naturally hit harder on Sunday.
Well done San Giuseppe! Naples is lucky...
Read moreI ordered delivery..., so I don't know about the atmosphere. After spending most of my life in Indiana and Ohio, I’ve had my fair share of truly great pizza—especially with all those long winters encouraging a little comfort food. Up north, great pizza is everywhere. Maybe it's the Midwest roots, maybe it's being so close to Chicago… either way, I came to expect a certain level of quality.
Since moving to Fort Myers, I’ve been seriously underwhelmed by the local pizza scene. Most places just don’t come close to what I was used to. That changed—big time—when I discovered San Giuseppe Pizza in North Naples.
This is the real deal.
I ordered the Meat Lovers and added black olives and mushrooms. One bite and I was sold. The crust? Perfect—crispy, chewy, and flavorful. The sauce? Rich and balanced, not too sweet, not too acidic. The toppings were generous and fresh, and everything just came together like the kind of pizza I thought I had left behind.
It’s no exaggeration to say this is the best pizza I’ve had since moving to Southwest Florida—and honestly, it holds its own against my favorite places back in the Midwest.
San Giuseppe is now officially my go-to spot. If you’ve been missing real pizza, you need to try it. Hands down, this...
