Angelic Desserts — Restaurant in Florida

1/5/25 was my first time visiting this shop in its new space. Space is great! Fresh and pretty. The cases were beautifully stocked. I went to purchase a cake for my daughter’s birthday. I asked the nice young gal behind the counter to tell me about the three cakes in the case. After hearing the explanations, I chatted with her about what she recommends and I purchased the Vanilla cake with Strawberry filling and strawberry buttercream. Then as a last minute add, the carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese frosting. Cup cake was AMAZING! Lovely cake and perfect frosting, ratio of each was great too. The cake. Beautiful, the strawberry buttercream was wonderful, highly recommend. The vanilla cake was awful. Dense and flavorless - no vanilla taste, and the filling was similar to a jar of Smuckers. What a disappointment for the center stage of my daughter’s birthday. I called the bakery, several days in a row asking to speak to the owner, left a message or two, no call or text. Then a terrific gal named Amanda answered on my 4th or 5th try, she asked if I had a photo. I shared. She said she would get in touch with the owner and they would get back to me. Nothing happened. I texted Amanda for my last ditch effort to get in contact with the owner, and what I received was a refund for my cake purchase. What I would have liked, would have been to have a conversation with the owner, so I could compliment her staff to her, and compliment the carrot cake, and I had hoped that instead of a refund, I would be offered another chance to try the properly made cake with my family. All this to say, having seen the disregard and disinterest this owner shows their customers, I will not be a customer of theirs...

Great little spot that we wandered into after discovering it on a little walk around the complex after our lobster roll lunch they have quite the assortment of what appears and come to find out very authentic Italian pastries, pies, and cakes although we had just eaten dinner we opted for a couple small bites of Keylime pie Which I want to know was white not green always a good sign and then after asking what the filling was in the cannoli to which I was happy to hear, ricotta cheese I got that the two things we got were absolutely amazing. It was tantalizing to the pallet to say the least the decor was amazing. The bathroom I wish I could have just hung out in. It was so Elegant hallways adorned with angel wing portraits for sale very well decorated very cute. Everything was very upscale looking and feeling not that that is necessary to have a good dessert but it’s important to note. I would absolutely go back here at least for another cannoli if not to try something else as well. The staff very inviting very welcoming, smiled, welcomed us in and thank us for coming answer the questions very knowledgeable very attentive just a perfect experience and they have a cute little courtyard that you can sit in as well which we didn’t notice coming in only after we were leaving or else we would’ve sat outside because the temperature was nice and it is...

Once in a while we went there for a years. But today I’ve had the worst experience in my life. The owner was so rude and unprofessional. I ordered soups and salads for my family (three of us). And the price on the board showed that it’s special combination, and will cost $9,99 per person. But when I came to pay, I saw that price is $13,99 per person (for a second, it’s 40% more). They said that it’s because of inflation, and it’s old prices. But, why you don’t change them? I paid anyway, because was hungry. After that my husband and son wanted fresh juice. I came inside again (we were still waiting outside for our order), I asked about prices first. And they said that prices for juice didn’t change. Then I asked to talk to owner. I told her that they have to change prices or sell the food for me for the price I saw. She said that she doesn’t have to do that , and she doesn’t have to sell me nothing. She told cashier to cancel my order for juice and for food. She was yelling at me! Also she said that they’ll change prices on Monday! Wait a minute, today is Saturday!
