" Italian Festival " was very disappointing. Upon entering the gate there was a booth with a sign stating, "Italian Culture & Costoms etc". The booth had nothing to do with the sign. Rather, it was a place for the " Italian Club of Venice" to offer trips & tourism to Italy. The entire event was very poorly put together. Sadly, it did not match the advertising at all. It was more like a carnival with rides etc. Also, food vendors(2) on Italian side weren't prepared upon the carnival opened. Whereas, all of the other vendors were prepared. We didn't want that. We thought we would see more Italian Booths. Furthermore, the "Authentic Italian Bakery" refused to give name of Baker, did not properly use gloves when handling food & the items tasted like a typical drug store item. Read moreI took my son for the rotary art festival a few weeks ago and I highly recommend the area for any event held here. There was plenty of parking for those in cars, and a designated and clearly marked path for people in strollers and other pedestrians. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the lack of shade. This is not to say that there isn't an abundance of shark teeth from one dollar up to hundreds of dollars for rare, beautiful specimens.
