This place has declined in numerous ways. The Servers attitudes are a bit much for me..I have food allergies and ask for alternatives, the young lady’s attitude should’ve been the warning for me. I’m allergic to bananas and whole milk. She put them in there anyways (Red head). The Scan of my stomach and trip to the hospital was the tell all along with the anaphylactic reaction. There’s a girl and guy team who makes it for me with no issue. The team with the red head with the 90 inch nails and the other hispanic young lady on the other hand…. Could care less. Cleaning the machines and changing sour milks would be a great way to start their shift. I wouldn’t recommend anyone go through the drive through. Emailing the owner is a blahhh…. Lake nona can do without this franchise, at this rate without change it wont last long. A mom and pop smoothie shop wouldn’t have to work very hard to compete. The way they handle food allergies is going to cost them big one day.Nothing is washed. I hope whoever owns it, steps it up. Otherwise it will cancel itself SOON. Seriously… you’re making a SMOOTHIE…ppl ask for alternatives for a reason. Tell the red head if she was trying to get me by putting my allergens in the drink, she got me. Read moreI am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unacceptable incident that occurred today, [August 29, 2025], at your Lake Nona, Florida location.
During my visit, despite having proof of purchase, I was wrongfully accused of stealing. Not only was this accusation completely unfounded, but the staff member involved used offensive and inappropriate verbiage toward me, which I found both humiliating and disrespectful.
I presented my receipt as proof of purchase, yet I was still subjected to this treatment. Being publicly accused of theft without cause is extremely damaging, and the language used was unprofessional, offensive, and completely out of line for any customer service environment.
I respectfully request that this matter be investigated immediately and that appropriate action is taken to ensure no other customer is treated this way. In addition, I would like a written apology and clarification of what steps will be taken to prevent this from happening again.
I have been a loyal Smoothie King customer and never expected to face such treatment. I hope you will treat this matter with the seriousness...
Read moreI have been going to this Smoothie King since they opened. In the beginning, it was great and the service was great. Over the past 4-6 months, it has slowly declined. Either out of materials to make smoothies, such as bananas or peanut butter or just bad service. Then the thing that really drives me crazy is that there is no one in the drive-thru and they ask you to pull around to front of store. When I ask why? I was told that it helps there drive-thru times and "my Owner Mike Hamilton requires it." I asked for Mike's number because I want him to pay for the damage to my car when it gets hit. I have had two near misses of a car backing out into me because I was parked in front of store where they told me to go. Needless to say, the manager wouldn't give me Mike's number to complain. Sad to say. Done with this place. I will make the drive to Starbucks for my smoothie...
