We go here all of the time because they are across the street. The food is hit or miss but today will be our last time. We ordered on the ap and paid $53.50 when we checked out. However it doubled everything and charged $107. We went inside and told them what happened. The young lady got the manager Hector and he did not speak any English. I had a friend that spoke Spanish and explained the issue. The manager Hector said there was nothing he can do we did on there app through corporate. Corporate is closed on weekends. No big deal we asked he fix it Monday and follow up he said they will not do that it is our problem and we need to call and deal with corporate. I said that’s not right and we come in all the time. His response was I don’t care don’t come back. All of this was in Spanish. How do you have a manager that does not speak English in Lake Nona? and what kind of service is this? We were in another time and none of the staff spoke English and I said I don’t speak English and the woman shrugged at me. I will never go back and if you do not speak Spanish you should not go here. Not to mention the very poor service from the manager Hector who pointed out “I’m the manager Hector, don’t come back”. All we asked is they fix it and follow up. Crazy when we got home one of the sandwiches was not even right. But no point in going...

Make it make sense!
The grilled cheese had no cheese, it was just butter, and I didn't realize until my daughter already ate half of it.
The cinnamon roll was ok, but a little hard. The quesitos were so dry. I have no idea what I was eating. The medianoche was great. That was the main thing I enjoyed from the meal. Also, NO REFILLS.
I wouldn't come back for a while and wait until things got better. We shall see. I was excited for this location since it's way closer, but they're making many mistakes when they weren't busy.
Managers were there sitting overhearing my conversation with my daughter and didn't say anything. Yes, overhearing...they looked my way when I mentioned the missing cheese to her and soggy fries.
One looked me dead in the eyes 👀 They had the manager shirts on too with the company logo.
Honestly, I blame the managers for this. These are new employees. They are still getting the hang of it, but had they seen the mistakes, they should've addressed them, not simply looked over my way.
MANAGEMENT...Do better or CORPORATE... Get...
Read moreVisited the new Lake Nona facility a couple of days after their opening. The food was good, but the service was terribly slow, waited 20-minutes in line and there was only one person ahead of me. I waited, because I am an old customer from PR, and welcome their new facility. Unfortunately, placing simple order (a Cranberry Crispy Chicken Wrap & a Boricua Sandwich) as listed in their menu took about ten minutes. I will not explain the fiasco, because do not want to make you cry. I was asked if grill chicken and I had to repeat crispy. I wanted coffee with the sandwich, but that is not part of the combo, so had to settle for a coke. I paid, but noticed that the cashier had not captured a pastry in the check, so had to place a second order. The point of sale equipment is in an awkward position and the transaction uncomfortable and noticed people had to try multiple times. Noticed many people talking about the poor service, complained of no refills, etc. I like El Meson a lot, so I spoke to the Shift Manager and explained my frustration and what other customers were saying. I hope that experienced cashiers and properly trained personnel turn the situation around immediately. ...
