Holy WOW!!! We came here to try an new Mexican Restaurant based on its Google rating, and I’m so glad we did!
The restaurant was packed (always a good sign) and there was a 45min wait to dine inside. You can choose to dine inside or outside. The wait is shorter dining outside. Just FYI, for as packed as it was (the restaurant), the food came extremely fast after we ordered and that really surprised us.
Our server, beautifully named “Genesis” was freaking amazing!!! We never had to wait on her, she was on top of our drinks, our food, and she checked in on us regularly. When restaurants are packed, and this place was PACKED, I normally expect for our food to take longer than normal, and for the service to suffer a little because of it. There's a pandemic going on and that’s just the nature of things today. I fault no one. Genesis, always had a smile on her face, and always had a sweet demeanor when addressing us (also a rarity when a restaurant is packed). Our waitress needs a raise! We left her a good tip because she deserved it! Please tip your waiters and/or servers!!!
The food…. My goodness, the food was like the icing on the cake! All of the flavors were very well done and nothing was over salted or over-spiced. Everything was perfect! I had the fajitas Trio and that was also amazing. The fajitas had huge chunks of steak, shrimp, and chicken, and all of it was very tender and not overcooked in the least.
The wife had a lobster enchiladas (the real name of that plate escapes me) that was to die for! The restaurant did not skimp on the alcohol in my wife’s Margarita either! My wife felt her drink slap her with drunken fury! She was feeling good afterwards ;)!
I can’t really think of any negatives on our visit here. If I had to nitpick, and I'm really grabbing at straws here, the only gripe I can come up with is that the indoor restaurant environment is really loud! Our ears were ringing a little from all the different people talking, laughing, and clapping around us. Once you start eating the food though, you practically forget that everyone around you even exists. Yeah, that’s the worst I can say about our experience. lol.
5 STARS! I highly recommend...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Don Julio’s, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a delightful evening. The decor elegantly balances tradition and modern flair, making it a perfect spot for both casual dinners and special celebrations.
What truly made the evening memorable was the outstanding service we received, especially from our waiter, Nelson. From the moment he approached our table, his friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm made us feel welcomed. Nelson was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations that truly enhanced our dining experience. He took the time to explain the different dishes, ensuring we understood the unique flavors and ingredients.
Throughout the evening, Nelson was attentive without being intrusive. He checked in on us regularly, ensuring our glasses were filled and that we were enjoying our meals. His warm personality and impeccable timing made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. It’s clear that he takes great pride in his work, and his passion for providing exceptional service shines through.
As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! Each dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The flavors were vibrant and authentic, making it evident that the chefs at Don Julio’s are dedicated to their craft.
Overall, I highly recommend Don Julio’s to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The combination of delectable food and stellar service, especially thanks to Nelson, makes it a standout destination. I can’t wait to return and enjoy another...

Popular Mexican Franchise. Fun, friendly servers, good for some celebrations. Restaurant is clean with modern decor. Drinks were overly priced & had barely any alcohol. Although, the coconut margarita was tasty..."like a virgin" kind of drink. Food was subpar & too pricey for us spent about $200 on 3 dinners & 3beers & 1 drink. The Street Corn was very, good. Considering the area, Lake Nona, it's expected.
Unexpected WAS THE 'X' on dad's bday sign (I edited & replaced with an 'O'. Seriously, I guess you're unaware that many Latinos really dislike the term, "Latin-X" _ we know who we are! Could you not tell that GPa was a man? Maybe ask if we want it personalized? .We ARE NOT "X" for "unknown Latin origin" or "X" for non-binary, trans, etc. 🙄
Don Julio's insults many to satisfy few! Please, let us enjoy our families w/out trying to indoctrinate or push your agenda to appease a miniscule minority. And no...don't call me "phobic" anything! My daughter is LGBT, as are a few nieces & friends. There's just no need for a sign like it....A simple "Happy ......" would suffice.
We enjoy a more traditional, family-owned type of authentic Mexican flavors (nonTex-Mex). They also don't need to make a political statement at a family gathering!! Head to Mezcalito in Palm Bay for the food & this place to hang out at a...
