Smoothie King — Restaurant in Florida

Unfortunately the issue I’m speaking on continues to reoccur time after time. If you’re looking for a smoothie with dates in it, this is not the smoothie king to come to. I’ve come to this Smoothie King for years now, trying to provide some type of redemption and rarely do they succeed. Every time I order a smoothie with dates in it, it’s always filled with very large chunks that cannot come through the straw. I’ve asked them to re-blend the same smoothie and if they don’t re-blend it, they’ll remake it and just say “there’s nothing they can do about it”. If I go to any other Smoothie King, and order the same smoothie, it always comes out perfectly without any chunks. The downside however is I must drive significantly further (Fruitville rd or Smoothie King near the anirport) away to get a properly blended smoothie. Until this issue can be resolved I will not be coming back to this Smoothie King while discouraging those within my network do the same.

Update to owner response: Rather than fixing the problem, I was asked (though what appears to be an automated message) to visit a website where SK offers $1 off my next smoothie... I recently visited this Smoothie King location and had a great experience. The customer service was excellent - the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They helped me customize my smoothie order exactly how I wanted it and were happy to provide recommendations.

The smoothie itself was delicious and refreshing. I got the Island Impact and it had the perfect blend of sweet and tart flavors. The ingredients tasted fresh and the consistency was just right - not too thick or thin.

The store was clean, bright, and welcoming. There was ample seating available and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I really appreciate the fast and efficient service as well.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this Smoothie King location and will definitely be returning. The great service and high-quality smoothies make it one of my new favorite spots. I highly recommend...

I've had 4 smoothies from this place and it never is the same experience as it is from the other smoothie kings in the area. I got a Banana Boat smoothie from the one on manatee and it was great. I got one from this one and it did not taste good and it was like a really thick milk shake. I immediately went up the road to the gas station and got a soda because it was so off putting. When I asked about why it taste different they replied "we use the same recipe I don't know what the others are doing wrong." There should be some comparison to find out what is different.
