What to say about Station 400 at Lakewood Ranch? What a great restaurant ambiance. The decoration and music really take you back in time and let you enjoy a taste of the past with a twist of the present. The staff is very nice. The food quality is really good. We had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, the Greek Omelette, and the Bacon & Salted Caramel Pancakes! The entrees are amazing and they have gluten free bread 🍞 to substitute the English Muffins and toast. The omelette options are a bit limited for a breakfast/brunch restaurant. And there isn't a vegetarian omelette, and although you can build your own, you can only add 3 ingredients to reach the target price. They have an option of buckwheat flour for the pancakes which is Paleo friendly. The fruit needs improvement, though, as it wasn't fresh. The wait was expected but we did see some other customers getting their food before ours. They are following social distancing by closing every other table but we did notice that they weren't disinfecting the tables. The lady was using the same cloth to clean and then doing utensils on napkins prep work. I think she noticed I noticed and starting wearing gloves. So at least she realized and corrected it. The menu is provided via QR code for a more contact-less experience. Some of your customers were not wearing masks so it would help to post it on your door. Highly recommend it!

Sunday Funday started with some breakfast! Bacon and salted caramel pancakes were delicious! The Balsamic chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries was the hubby's idea for breakfast as they serve lunch too. 😀 He supposedly wasn't hungry and ate it all....a rarity for him. Lol. They have expresso so lattes a score! I didn't have any of the breakfast mimosas but they seemed popular as many were made in front of us! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating but it was super busy when we left.... so go early or expect a little wait. We sat at the breakfast bar as it was first come first serve and seats were available. Prices reasonable. Staff friendly. 7/22 lattes, mimosas and food! Perfect for Sunday brunch. Ordered the peaches n cream stuffed breakfast and my husband the Cuban. Enjoyed our meals and really enjoyed our beverages too. Our waitress very attentive and friendly. We went before the 11 am rush! 11/22 remains one of our favorite go to breakfast spots (and many others too). Always packed. Our food was perfect. Tried the apple cider martini and it was delicious.

One visit to this fantastic place will make you want to add it your rotation for breakfast. All aspects of the dining experience were perfect. Went at 8 am on a Saturday, no wait. The nutella waffle topped amply with fruit was delicious and didn't need any of the additional syrup that it came with. The greek omelet was very enjoyable too. The olives were crushed and placed on top of the tzatiki sauce, which is preferable to its whole or even sliced form, for this kind of meal. The portion size is just right for not needing to take any leftovers home. It's not too hard to find a vegetarian option here. In the future we'll definitely come back for lunch! Edit: still haven't returned for lunch, but we've been back a few more times for breakfast! Everything we've had is memorably delicious, like the benedicts, French omelet, and banana pancakes.

Went here trusting the great reviews… BIG mistake. The first red flag was walking towards the restaurant and seeing the 3-4 outside tables with piled up dirty plates and glasses on them. The birds were all over the tables picking up scraps from the plates. Walked in and waited to be seated, and the host went to bring us to a booth…. The table was dirty and not wiped down so she had to relocate us. Sat down and looked at the menus and they had food and syrup residue all over them. Ordered the huevos rancheros. The chicken tasted like it was boiled. Completely bland. The beans were bland also. I had never eaten such a flavorless dish in my life. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes. He said they were the worst pancakes he’s ever had. The syrup unfortunately didn’t even help with the taste. Overall worst food experience we’ve ever had and will never return. PS… the outside tables STILL had the same dirty plates and cups on them when we left. Cleanliness and taste are two VERY important factors, and when it’s lacking, it leaves a negative lasting impression that leads to negative reviews and...

We went there for breakfast. Previously having waited tables all through college, I expected some mistakes as it was busy. I was not expecting to be seated and then wait over 40(!) minutes and still never get any food!! We gave our order two separate times. We were told it was a computer error however pretty much all the tables around us ordered, got food, ate, and paid their bill.

The first time we ordered it was about 5 minutes in. Great, except he got my order wrong and checked it. Smile, no problem. The second time we gave our order (same two omelettes), it was about 30 mins later. After another 5 minutes we were told it would be another 20 mins before we got our food. At that point, we said no thanks. The manager finally came over to apologize. He offered us a MUFFIN to take away for our 40 minute wait. That was it!! We said for him to keep his muffin.

The whole experience was beyond terrible. We gave both the waiter and manager opportunities to ameliorate the situation and both exhibited deplorable and reprehensible behavior.

Even though I’m in LWR twice a week, guess what? I’m...
