My wife and I were on Spring Break Vacation and stopped in Hungry AF. With a name like "Starvo" it was fitting to go here. We were greeted on entry- very family oriented pizza spot! There order taker was patient and informative. We ordered Chicken parmesan and baked ziti along with it, they're standard large pie with cheese only. Alright, I mean I was looking for a more finn new york style pizza and the order taker informed me that was not the style of pizza that they serve and I went with the order anyway. The crust reminds me sort of of pizza hut when I was younger, uh, without all of the added butter- but brushing the dough with a garlic butter or some sort would definitely upgrade the crust. We know people like pizza like this, but it was definitely dependent on the cheese and toppings. It wad very heavy cheese- which is pleasing to some. The chicken parm was kinda thick (im used to a flattened breast) and buried underneath The cheese and meat sauce, but still was tasty. For a "pizza spot": Not bad, I wasn't really expecting italian restaurant quality and got great comfort food. Great place!

New owners apparently. Apparently have no problem sending pizza like this out. Have friends with similar experience since the switch. Been going there since the 90s. Not anymore. Sauce is bland now too. Edit to respond: Pizza was picked up and placed on the front passengers lap. Absolutely wasn't tilted and you can see where the exposed dough and sauce was cooked because it was thrown in the oven that way. Not In the business of giving mom and pop businesses a hard time. Like to support local but it doesn't help when you don't own your mistakes. Ate there over 20 years without that happening before.

We’ve been coming to Stavros in different Daytona locations for many many years, in fact, close to 30 years. The best was one that used to be on Nova, in Ormond near Hand ave. It’s been gone for a long while. This beachside location was always a nice one and when it was sold to another owner you get worried. Pleased to say that so far it’s been great and the food was still exactly as we’d expect so only time will tell. Service was great as usual, so we are happy to keep going to our spot. Also, next time I’d really like to try a specialty of the owner, an Indian style mini pizza!

do you still try to run this place from a laptop game in the dinning room full of friends ? WHY WOULD I CALL !! LIKE YOU SAID , YOU WERE RIGHT THERE !! I DO NOT KNOW WHAT ONE YOU WERE, BUT FIGURED YOU WERE THE ONE PLAYING GAMES ON YOUR COMPUTER. BUT FIGURED YOU HAD NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS OR YOU WOULD HAD CAME TO US AND ASKED HOW THINGS WERE . SMH AND I WAS NOT BASHING HER, I'M BASHING YOU !!! AND YOUR POOR PRACTICE/ETHICKS .NO NEED TO LIE TO ME AGAIN ,I do not have your place confused with another, that seems to be your go to answer, it does not work, and is unacceptable , and makes you just as confused as your help (she called herself lovely rita meata maid)and you lie now to try to defend yourself ! OMG TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE FOR YOU! I WILL NOT BE BACK NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY NOW ! she is 60at least ! and even talked like someone had to go get her off her couch at home 80steos away, hence the long wait. but the food was good, the place was only full of employees and family playing all over the dining room, but the woman that waited our table eventually (5 minute wait to come to table)this woman was kinda gross too, mentally not right either maybe , dirty cloths , and very un-kept appearance . she would not take a straight order, and tried to tell us what we wanted, who does that ! she brought me my bottle of beer ,and pulled her dirty shirt up, showing her oversized belly to open my beer with. then when she brought out food at different points she would not hand me my food, she had to keep reaching completely across the table dragging that filthy shirt over our food. the only reason I am righting this is, I used to love this place before this woman worked there, and this place became a daycare facility . I think it was like 9 non guests to 2 guests , we were the only 2 guests, and I wish...

As a lifelong Daytona Beach resident, I've had my fair share of pizzas across town. But when it comes to authenticity and mouth-watering flavors, Stavro's Pizza in neighboring Ormond Beach stands out distinctively. Their use of a real brick oven isn't just a cooking method; it's a tradition that infuses each pizza with a unique, smoky taste that's hard to find elsewhere.

I've been a regular at Stavro's for over a decade. It's a testament to their consistent quality and the warm, welcoming atmosphere they've cultivated. What truly sets Stavro's apart, though, is their exceptional staff, particularly a delivery driver named Emily. Her dedication and cheerful demeanor have transformed routine pizza deliveries into experiences that brighten your day. Even on the rare occasions when the receptionist slips up, Emily's commitment to customer satisfaction shines through. She doesn't just correct mistakes; she turns them into opportunities to demonstrate Stavro's dedication to their customers.

From a family perspective, Stavro's is a gem. The pizzas are not only delicious but also come in varieties that cater to all ages - a big win for family outings or cozy nights in. The value you get for the price is remarkable, especially considering the top-notch ingredients and the traditional cooking method.

Stavro's Pizza is more than just a restaurant; it's a part of our community's culinary heritage. Its blend of family-friendly ambiance, educational insight into traditional pizza-making, and consistent quality makes it a place I wholeheartedly recommend. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and experience the authentic taste of...

Located in a all-too familiar strip mall, Stavros has been there since 1984, and it shows.

It smells heavenly when walk in, just like a pizza joint should. It was busy at 530pm on a Monday. Not from table guests but from deliveries and pick-ups.

Table service was quick and friendly. We ordered their famous Greek salad, garlic knots, and sausage pizza.

The salad was served ice cold in a heaping pile of lettuce, feta cheese, and shredded meat. Throw on some calamata olives and those wonderful pepperocini peppers and you have a meal in itself. Everything was fresh. Plenty of leftovers for tomorrow.

The garlic knots were served hot in a pond of melted-butter-chunky-garlic loveliness. There was a side of homemade marinara on the side, but the butter-garlic is simply heavenly. My only quibble is that they are very small. One bite wonders.

The sausage pizza was the star. The pizza sauce is also homemade and I dare to guess the sausage is as well. The seasonings in the sausage were amazing. I tried stealing some of the sausage from my better half, but was caught and threatened with violence! The crust was light and crispy and begged to be dipped in the extra marinara or butter garlic sauce.

Excellent food and service. Being open for 36 years is a testament of their quality and it shows....
