Nowhere else in Carrollwood can you sample premiere bottles of wine (by the ounce or more) for an affordable price - and if you like it, you can buy a bottle to take home with you! The selections in the shop are numerous, from the regular "everyday" bottle to those you'd want for a special occasion. They also have great specials on beer and house wines (try the sangria and sake cocktails as well), plus delicious food (including sushi, and now gourmet flat breads, on Tuesdays and Thursdays) from Michael's Grill next door. There is plenty of seating for you and your friends/family, whether at the bar (free WiFi and plenty of charging ports if you need), the spacious indoor lounge area (comfy couches and nice art), or the large outdoor patio in front (for those mild evenings - bring your dogs or cigars). There are several television screens if you want to catch your favorite game, and some fun weekly events and discounts like Happy Hour, free wine tastings, live music, Ladies Night, and Trivia Night. You can also make reservations for private parties and events, which are quite popular here. Pedro and Chelsea are both wonderful hosts, and Dan, Kip, Keith, and the other guys are great as well. While it is perfectly acceptable and appropriate to make this your destination for the evening (especially when fine musicians are there to entertain you on Fridays and Saturdays), where the scene really shines is as a jumping off point for a Big Night on The Town or as a classy joint for a night cap after dinner when the conversation is flowing and you don't want the night to end too quickly. It's a versatility that I really appreciate.
