I wish I could leave no stars... The service is awful. Nearly empty and never got asked if we wanted refills. We placed our order, waited patiently. It was our anniversary dinner we asked for the Whiskey glazed sirloin with the sides, we asked for steak to be well done. When we cut into it it was bloody. I'm very picky about that. Now, we get upset because it's third time we come and they've screwed up our steak or ribs. When manager finally comes out she's laughing and making gestures to a waiter and we thought it was quite unprofessional. She proceeded to say they can fix it for us, at this point my boyfriend and I thought we should receive a discount as an apology not just fresh food cause it's happening too many times already. None of that happened. So my boyfriend got overwhelmed and said, Nope we are taking our money elsewhere she continued to beg but got up and left putting a dink in our anniversary evening. Now today we are hungry tired from the beach and placed an order online to pick up. So while I stayed home settling down my boyfriend went to pick up the meal, he returns with more then half out order missing. I called no refund could be issued but told to either pick up rest of food or call customer service and ask for refund. Now, I show up give half my order has to ask for rest of order continue to wait for some server to be extremely rude with no customer service skills. He hands me the bag with attitude, no apology, not even have a good night. Anything, But nothing. Honestly their food isn't as good for price as well as their service is terrible. The managers and servers alike have no customer service skills. They should shut this place down and give all of them some proper training on cooking, customer service and problem solving skills just like they did with Starbucks! Pathetic really. We've decided not to give them any more chances! If I were y'all I would do the same. It's sad, mad love for Friday's but at this point not going back and definitely calling corporate they need to be let known of these issues so they can fix it. Very disappointing...
Read moreI would not waste my time at this restaurant. There are many choices of restaurants to eat from in Waterford Lakes. My daughter took me there for dinner after a movie as a treat and her mashed potatoes had a crust on top and they were discolored with a dark brownish color (no gravy). Her med-well steak was tough, dry and nasty. and When I discreetly told management about the potatoes I also asked what time the restaurant closed. I knew they had two hours before closing so I could not understand why the cooks were scraping the burnt potatoes from the bottom of the pot. He told me that mashed potatoes normally grow a crust on top if they're not stirred. Then he gave me a stare as if I should accept that explanation and eat the potatoes. When I objected to keeping the potatoes he then took a piece of the crust to the kitchen. He was annoyed with me. I told him that I eat out at restaurants on a regular basis and I have not seen mashed potatoes that look like this. I explained to him that all I wanted was edible mashed potatoes for my daughter. I also had to return my salad because after I cut up my beautiful Cobb salad and added my goddess dressing I realize that it was blue cheese in which I do not like so I sent it back. All was great with our server but the way the manager handled the situation made me question the food we got back so I packed it and took it with us. When looking at the manager when leaving, the look he gave me said I should not trust the food and that I should toss it, and I did! What a waste of time and money. I can't remember his name but he is tall, skinny, dirty blond, I think he had an accent, white and works at night. I will not be returning there! Read moreI went here on Saturday night, May 4, night of the Kentucky Derby, with my friend. This may have been my worst experience EVER! I literally always take pictures of my food and drinks but I didn't. That tells you something. We sat at the bar and guess what? I don't know her name because she never told us. When my friend ordered her food, she asked for her soup to come out first because she was hungry. 10 minutes later, no soup or drinks. I asked the bartender what was taking so long and she blamed the kitchen. Oh, and she had an attitude. Mind you we also still didn't have our drinks. 10 minutes later she finally got her soup. Maybe a few minutes before that we got out drinks after waiting 15 minutes 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏾♀️. It took 35 minutes for us to get a fried chicken sandwich and a chef salad. We had to ask for a manager from a server that was walking by because the bartender never came to check on us! We were sitting there with empty cups and and empty soup bowl for 20-25 minutes. The bartender didn't acknowledge us at all, it was like we were invisible. Once the manager was found, he said he wasn't aware of what was going on. He seemed completely out of it. We were told he couldn't comp both food and alcohol, it had to be one or the other. Worst service I've ever had! Bartender never came back over to us, the bar manager took over because of how bad the bartender was. Never going there again. Terrible customer service. Bartender needs to be retrained.
