I don’t know where to begin. Four of us made a reservation month prior for a dinner at the grill and the try to add two more people to our group, but they told us they could not do that unless we become right at opening time. So we didn’t do it. We arrived and get seated in completely empty restaurant at 6:30 PM in January, which is pretty busy month for our Naples. Our waiter was not attentive at all and when we ask for a cocktail list he told us he doesn’t have one later on we found out that dessert menu is also contain a cocktail list menu. The order of cocktails and I order paper plane where my waiter ask me do I know ingredients. Wow. That was Outrageous . We order a few appetizers after that salads and main courses with steaks and lobster tails. Appetizers arrived very quick and we’ve been rushed by the table attendant and the server to clean up our tables. We saw salads been sitting on a try by the entering to the kitchen and waiting for us to put our silver down for appetizers so we can get salads right away. same happen With our main course. . As soon as we were done with the salads, our main course arrived with no time in between. Needless to say our 4 course males at the one of the” best restaurant “ that used to be in Naples was over in just a little bit over one hour. One hour dining experience for 1k $!!!! Steaks were cooked properly, but very dry and tasteless. And Reviews are right since Marriott took over a Ritz food service and atmosphere quality went down a hill. Once again, what most bothered me was, our timing was cut very short. For such a restaurant with a “great” reputation, this never should happen. Other thing we asked for two people be added to our table and for all time we were there in the prime time of the restaurant dining. It was only three more table taken so 70% of restaurant was empty And that look very bad on them not letting us add two more people. Overall, save yourself money and time and visit some other restaurants in town that care about...
Read moreAbsolutely delighted with our experience at The Grill restaurant in The Ritz Carlton, Naples. From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the elegant ambiance and warm hospitality. The staff's attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that every aspect of the meal was flawless. The menu showcased a delightful array of gourmet dishes, prepared with utmost skill and creativity.
But what truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service provided by our server Aldemar and his assistant Peter. Their attentiveness and knowledge about the menu were impressive, making us feel like true VIPs throughout the evening.
A special thank you to manager Brian as well, who went above and beyond. When he learned that I wanted a Smoked Old Fashioned and the restaurant bar didn't have a smoker, he personally went to another bar at the hotel to get me the smoked old fashioned and brought it to our table. That level of dedication is truly amazing service.
Speaking of improvements, we would suggest that the hotel management consider providing the restaurant bar with a smoker. A high-end restaurant that serves whiskey and steak should definitely have a smoker at the bar to enhance the dining experience even further.
The culinary journey was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving our taste buds thoroughly satisfied. The wine selection was impressive, perfectly complementing the exquisite flavors of the dishes. The spectacular decor in the restaurant only added to the overall enchanting atmosphere.
If you are seeking a dining experience that blends luxury, gastronomy, and top-notch service seamlessly, The Grill is an absolute must-visit. Our visit here was an unforgettable evening of indulgence, and we eagerly look forward to returning for another exceptional...
Read moreWe dined at the Grill this evening for our 50th wedding anniversary. We had a fabulous dinner and awesome service. Our waitress, Mary Elizabeth, was outstanding and made this very special evening a wonderful experience for us, as did the rest of the staff. The meal began with cocktails which were made to perfection. Immediatedly we were served complimentary crudites and delicious bread. In between we were never rushed, but when we ordered it was just the right amount of time to be served our dinners. Our wedge salads were superb as were our filets, which were cooked just right. The bernaise sauce made them even better. I also ordered the add on half lobster tail and it was delicious--no drawn butter but buttery none-the-less and seasoned with herbs to make it extra good and tender. We had no room left for desert but they gave us two cookies which we found room for and a red rose and chocolate anniversary card to add even more to a great night. Oh, did I mention we had a table in front of the fireplace and there was piano music playing in the background? What more could we ask for our 50th anniversary. When there was a little glitch in our bill they promptly corrected it and then some. I highly recommend the Grill and, of course, our waitress Mary and my former student, Johanna,...
