El Pueblo Mexican restaurant — Restaurant in Winter Park

They have wonderfully delicious food with a heaping side of bad customer service. I've been coming to this restaurant for at least 2 years and service can be hit or miss, but today takes the cake.

There was miscommunication when I placed my order in person. I usually place it over the phone. Whoever answers often says everything? Meaning Cilantro and onion. Today in person, I was asked that and said yes like usual.

My order came out with extra toppings that I can not eat. The counter girl was so rude about it. Even after she asked the kitchen to make a new order, she passed by me and says "you should've noticed the price difference when you paid and said something," along with other snide remarks. Excuse me? In this economy prices go up. I noticed it seemed like more, but I wasn't sure, and I didn't bother asking since they're quick to get an attitude. You DO NOT get itemized receipts here.

I got treated like dirt and talked crazy to for an honest, simple mistake on BOTH of our parts. I don't care how much I love the food, I will not be back. If I could've taken my tip back, I definitely would've. Las Carretas only for now on. They're very...

Really love the vibe of this place. This is another authentic Mexican restaurant you can best believe will deliver when it comes not just to the atmosphere but also the food!

I ordered a Torta de Milanesa and two Sopes with Carne Asada. This was actually really filling and to be honest I didn’t get the chance to finish my torta and only finished half of it. Everything was really well cooked and in a timely manner as well!

For drinks I had Jarritos but they have a great selection to pick from as well as Beer if that’s what you would like.

The salsa they offered was very flavorful! I normally go for the spicy sauces but this is something with a low tolerance can take and enjoy!

Very great atmosphere and really enjoyed the Cumbia Vibes! Check this place out. Only downfall I would say is just that it’s a small location but that’s it, the rest was beyond my expectations!

This used to be one of my favorite places to get tacos until I went tonight. I did a phone order for tacos and the order was repeated back to me before I hung up. When me and my husband went to go pick up, the first Lady who spoke to us asked us our order but what they had was different. She proceeded to tell the kitchen the order was wrong and you could see faces become upset. But instead of just correcting it they sent another girl up to repeat exactly what the first Lady asked us. This time she opened the box and put it in the kitchen window and everyone in the kitchen came up to look at the tacos and us and just started laughing. I have worked in many restaurants and you should never do that in front of customers. It was very disrespectful and it was disappointing that they just couldn’t fix it without making a huge deal about it especially since it was their fault.
