Wawa…ahhh…my oldest daughter’s first employer…one of my fav gas stations, even been to the 1st Wawa location (and there’s no gas station) anyway, I’ll just highlight a few things here but I’m sure everyone is aware I mean, after all, here in Florida, and especially Central Florida - east to west, there’s a Wawa practically on every corner lol not really but almost… Ok…sandwiches aren’t too shabby. I usually get a panini but whatever you chose, it’s a great place to grab something quick to eat that isn’t half bad. I tend to stick with the same thing every time I order…and I could eat this everyday for a week…and have lol but their egg white omelet sandwiches for breakfast is my fav and a cheese panini for anytime beyond breakfast, topped off with a strawberry mango smoothie. The fuel is cheaper than most gas stations from what I’ve noticed however, to me, it seems it also burns quicker than like Mobil or other brands like such. I can’t confirm if that’s true or not but it’s what it seems, to me anyway. Cigarettes seem to be priced better here, at least for Marlboro and you’ll pay about $1-2 less than 7-eleven. I can’t speak for the other tobacco products. Self check out-since they’ve installed these things, getting in and out quickly is much easier. Wawa tends to be hoppin in the morning regardless of what location you’re at so if you’re in a rush, self checkout is the way to go. Ohhh…free air is offered here but often, there will be a line and perhaps 2-3 people before you, or more…the longest line I’ve been in and seen for air was 4 cars deep. And because the airline is used heavily, it’s not uncommon to see it down for a day or 2 or sometimes more, but not too often. The atm’s are also few free and I believe PNC is the provider at all of them - except cashapp. If you’re using a cashapp. Card, cashapp will charge you $2 regardless. That’s just what they’ve been doing the last few years. But you can use your other debit cards and no fee will be applied. I believe the max to withdraw at a time is $400 but I feel like I’ve pulled $800 in the last but I could be wrong. I’ve literally pulled my rent money from these atms and then ran across the street or next door to the amscot for money orders lol although they’re not always paired together or near each other, but it’s not uncommon to see an amscot in the vicinity. Oh-most all Wawa’s have 2 entrances and you can enter from the front or “back” of the store. It’s not as common to run into a Wawa with only 1 entrance but they are out there.
Anyways, that’s all I got for ya lol The pic I added isn’t this particular Wawa but it’s a Wawa and they all look...
Read moreThird time I’ve gone in for a pizza and waited a half hour+++ for my pizza after being told repeatedly it would only be 8 minutes by staff. When I calmly and respectfully asked for my money back, the manager said “it’s going to be out any minute now”, to which I replied “no thanks, it’s been way too long and I’d just like to go somewhere else at this point”. He then smacked his lips, got on his radio and said “trash that pizza, just forget it the guy wants his money back now”. I said “that’s very unprofessional, and to be honest the buck stops with you, the manager to address recurring issues like this”. He didn’t like hearing that and blamed everyone else for the obvious issue they have there getting pizzas out reliably on time. It could be an equipment problem, but it’s more likely a training problem, as the process and equipment seem to be very well thought out. The manager didn’t like hearing that his store has fallen short of the standard multiple times, but he also seemingly had no answer for it, nor plans to change anything. Losing attitude. He was very rude and unprofessional, blaming his company for buying the wrong pizza oven, and saying it was unreasonable for me to want my money back despite everything I’d explained above. I used to love coming here, but now I refuse to spend money here anymore. Sad to have such poor leadership and such low standards at this...
Read moreStopped in to top off the air in my tires, get gas, and grab a snack before going to Disney. Instead of putting air into my tires though, I got a flat because their air pump is broken without any signage on it. When I went in to tell the employees about the pump they shrugged it off and said they knew. Even though my father had been told the air pump was working by an employee when he noticed I was losing air. As a side note, while stuck there, two other vehicles didn’t listen to our warning about the pump and nearly went flat trying to fill up. Luckily they stopped before losing too much pressure to go somewhere else. And, with nothing left to do, we called roadside and sat down with our food to eat. Only issue, my sister’s chicken salad croissant sandwich? It had a dead spider curled up between the bun and the lettuce. Talk about cherry on top. When we went in to tell them about that, we got a refund & an offer to replace it- not that we’d trust one at that point though. I’ve never had an issue with Wawa before but this has truly left me rethinking giving them any of my money in the future. They don’t maintain or put up signage for broken equipment, and don’t even say sorry when told their pump led to a flat. When I left I tacked a sign up for them since they don’t seem to care what happens to people who use their...
