I've gone to this restaurant for years and I was shocked seeing all the bad reviews. It looks like they did a reverse face-lift on it so I decided to go back and check it out. Alot of the negative posts, I BELIEVE, are due to the time of day. So, I went at 430, all the food was stocked up, hot and fresh. They have Buffalo and American style fried Buffalo wings now which was awesome. It was busy but not Cracker Barrel busy. Alot of large families. I saw the "menacing" tall Asian man who was handling all the customers. He took the large family in front of us to the cashier to give them their total before they were seated. He wasn't rude, just all business. 5pm, the fried blue crabs came out with a fresh hunk of roast beef you slice off what you want. And if anyone has issue with there not being enough Asian food or the food on the buffet is cold, they literally have a hibachi right as you walk in to have anything cooked right then and there while you wait for it. The sushi has changed, more rolls with cream cheese (I think) in them and the ahi and salmon are in tuna chunks instead of slices. I included a Pic of my tab for two people that did not force a 15% tip, which we never had that experience. The T on the tab is for Tax. I gave the cashier a 8$ cash tip for my waitress out of CHOICE. The receipt gives you a spot to add whatever amount you want but they tax tips so I do cash. Anyway, hope this helps clear the air. I would not drive 20 miles to eat here, but I would for Cody's steakhouse before they burned down. If you want a quick filling meal with a large variety of American and Asian food that is all you can eat, this is a great spot. I would give them 5 if their salad had more to choose from. Happy eating all!

Where do i start. Her response to me was no you pay now. I ordered a water and not only did i never get offered a refill i was the only patron that they made to prepay. All the tables around me were asked if they wanted a refill 49 minutes later i still have not been asked. This is totally unacceptable and i will make a lot of noise about this treatment. Seriously? i just had to ask for a server and the.server looks at me and said what you want. my response was oh so you are my server i asked him why he never approached me to ask if i wanted anything to drink and in a disgusting tone want water or not i said sure and thanks. That water is still standing in the cup. He never removed the original cup. So i went to the cashier asked why was i the only one that had to prepay and she said oh mosta peeper want pay first. I reminded her she didn’t give me a choice. Then i purchased a beer. We can not allow business owners to mistreat us the consumers.

The staff was extremely rude to me and my family. They make us PAY BEFORE WE EAT, because they know the food is bad. They yelled at me because I left food on my plate, but I only left crawfish shells and sweet and sour sauce. So they made me LICK the sauce OFF my PLATE or else they said they will charge me for it. They also charged my brother’s credit card after we left for “not finishing the food”. The tall Asian man is the owner at the front when you walk in and is the rudest person I’ve ever met. I also wanted took look at what they had before we ate and he yelled at me and my family and threatened to call the POLICE. When I saw the outside of the place I thought it was a haunted house. It says it costs 12.99 but they charge $19.

This place is not worth trying to go to. I have been there on too many occasions and there food being "decent" would be an overstatement, I can say their food can be fairly "warm" however when it comes to quality and preparation for the many various items they try to serve, is almost unbearable. They might need a sanitation inspection on how they do things and prepare food for their customers. Even the various items that they present isn't up to par with expectations of anything that delicious or decent for what is being paid for. They can not even take in constructive criticism and woukd refuse customer advice for better meals! I am Asian American, vietnamese specifically and they treat me and the group that I usually go with very fairly, but still have a subtle rudeness. I never notice so much until I opened my eyes to the truth much more clearly that they give a what seemed "fair" hospitality to my party and I because of my race. They treat darker skinned parties much worse the more I go. They are actually very racist and tend to separate races in such a discriminate manner by placing Hispanics and Blacks at the BACK of the restaurant instead of the front with and to also where the Caucasians and Asiand were sitting. They would constantly make excuses on to why "certain" customers could not sit at the front or even receive decent treatment as much as other customers. Their idea of fair customer service and inconsistent policy is absurd. I could hardly rate their food one and a half stars as it is very comparable to their customer service. The decor of that place is fine to pleasant outlook inside the building. But that does not excuse the lack of satisfaction or tolerance I have for that place specifically. I hardly ever have to review for a restaurant but this is a MUST for concern as this place could go through much worse if this continues! This review is more for change than shut down as I want to give the optimistic possibility that it could change for better. I don't want to see restaurants go down unless it is necessary, however I expected a much better average rating as I tend to respect it enough for change as I have been going to this buffet for many years. But right now on the way its turning out, it actually would be worse than 3.2 average rating, I would expect this to be much worse now by its rate and its lucky for it still standing. Customers deserve apologies for anything that happens in that restaurant would be a good first step to something. Need to realize a problem before trying to fix it.A good looking restaurant does not excuse poor quality in food and customer human decency. Please read this review with the expectation of this restaurant being a possibility of food poisoning and poisonous service as well. I have never been a fan of this place and I thought it was always absolutely disgusting the food was always cold and a terrible atmosphere and terrible service! God forbid you ever need a refill because don't hold your breath because you won't be getting one. My husband went here on his lunch break without me thank God he said he sat down it was more expensive than what the sign said okay fine he's not one to complain sat down started eating his first plate a family came in two adults two kids one of the kids was face high as a buffet was set up and started coughing over everything and not like an allergy cough like one of those sick down in your chest dog cough full of phlegm and as she's grabbing the spoon scooping all of the stuff she just was coughing everywhere over everything you could see the spit and phlegm flying out of her mouth her parents didn't stop her, nothing. After witnessing that and her touching half of the buffet not to mention all the germs in the air he went up to the owner and told him what was going on and how he would no longer like to eat here they said oh well you got one plate and he said yeah of course but I didn't finish it did you not just see what happened and they said you still have to pay he did and he said you know what I will not be coming back due to the service and you know what they said no loss! No loss? What kind of wait is that to treat customers!? He will definitely never be coming back and me I will never ever go back here to this establishment after reading all of the other reviews you could see why! And not to mention if you get plenty of reviews all stating the same thing beware please listen there's truth in all of them I'm just saying their food practices are poor the environment is very uninviting and I've worked in the service industry for over 13 years never once have I ever demanded a higher tip much less sat and bed for one the real question is if you have to beg for a higher tip or beg to be tipped at all that clearly means you are not doing your job properly...

First red flag 🚩 I noticed about this place the outside of the building looks like it is run down and closed. Instantly we I hope the food didn’t taste how it looked. We were celebrating my grandmothers birthday and this place is where she wanted us to go due to a recommendation. 2nd red flag 🚩 was we had to pay before being seated. So we paid asked for water, but was charged a 15%surplus that wasn’t explained to me at all, I end up ordering a soda anyway which I wouldn’t mind paying for but would have prefer to have known prior.

I grabbed a plate and sat down everyone in our group of 12 instantly started complaining about how cold the food was, we should have gotten up and left but as I stated we were celebrating our grandmothers birthday 🎂.

They had piles of fried food and no matter how far you pull from the bottom it was cold and tasteless. Code enforcement really need to look further into this place. We went around lunch time so I’m now sure how bad dinner is. Everything I picked up from the buffet was cold.

We decided to eat at the hibachi grill and surprisingly it was good and definitely hot because it was freshly made. I decided to try some dessert some of the cake was ok but there were some stale pieces of cake, especially the coconut cake 🤢

As we were leaving I noticed there was a group of people being let in for dinner and they allowed them to be seated without having to pay. I questioned him asking “why did we have to pay before sitting down “? His response was oh you’re new so you don’t know how this goes 🤔 and we didn’t charge him because it’s all on 1 check. What sense does this make?????? I definitely told him we were not coming back due to his attitude and disgusting food. He said he didn’t care, and I believe him due to the tasteless effort of food and the overall experience. DO NOT GO trust me I’m sure they are breaking code enforcement laws. Really wish I didn’t have to put a star for this post but it will not allow me to post it without at least...
