This Wendy’s location has failed! At 2:19 this afternoon I went to the drive-through at this Wendy’s to purchase a double cheeseburger a spicy chicken sandwich and a large fry. At the drive-through I asked if I could have three honey mustard’s to accompany the meal I had just ordered. The girl on the intercom said “sure”. So I pull around and only had to wait about a Minute and the guy at the handoff window handed me 2 Bags with my order inside. He did this all a while he was on the phone ignoring me completely and not even Looking at me directly. I’ll go inside of both bags to check my order. No honey mustard. So I asked his drive-through window was closing I said excuse me sir can I have three honey mustard’s ordered. He turns around grab them and handsome to me. They were only two when I said excuse me sir I requested 3! That’s when he said “I can only give you 2”. I explained to him that I requested these at the beginning of my order, and I was told that would be no problem. He nonchalantly rolled his eyes at me. Then in a condescending tone again he repeated himself and began to talk about some sort of shortage and that I would have had to Order another Order of fry’s or chicken nuggets. And again he said all of this to me Harley looking at me in the eyes. This is completely unacceptable especially when I just paid nearly $17 for three menu items. I was not asking for 7 or 8 sides of honey mustard. I was asking for 3!!! I was very polite but this has upset me and I will not be coming back to this Wendy’s! The Owner/Managment should really reevaluate this employee. I do not often say this but I do felt like his poor attitude and condescending tone towards me was racially motivated. No place for this and completely unacceptable! This would not happen at...
Read moreMy other went to grab something quick for us to bring over my place on Friday evening. When he came over, he said that the service there at that Wendy's location isn't the best. He could barely order or get any kind of help from anyone. Yes, it's just fast food, but don't work there if you're going to say things like," Dumb people from Lakewood Ranch." You do not like your job, then quit. Many people are in need of jobs who are willing to work in your position. How do you know my other was from Lakewood Ranch? When he lives in Sarasota. Or anyone could have gotten off from the interstate for something quick to eat road traveling. And he had shown me pictures of employees that were young kids on their phones in the kitchen area... Meanwhile, they are improperly touching others' food, so the hygiene must not be of good service there. When I worked for Publix, we never could be on our phones while serving in the Deli, and it's rude when giving customer service. I have yet to go to that location but now I know I might not even go after what my other had encountered while on that trip and the manager says, "then why do you come to this location, go to another one". Because it's on the way to my place, my other said in return. He paid almost $20.00 for two people after tax. I mean for fast that's not cheap anymore these days. Even my neighbors say they don't go to that location either. It's bad management and bad hiring for the right skilled workers to work there all around. Usually, I try to leave good reviews but get one bad in the bunch. My late husband was a chef as well, for as long as our marriage 20 years, you don't treat your customers that way. Customers are the ones who pay you to stay open...
Read moreHORRIBLE! You have to use the drive up lane-10 cars ahead of us. We stopped here to pick up a quick dinner and try to save some time on a very busy day
Finally placed our order, picked up at the window, ASKED if the two bags contained our complete order, The young man stated it did
We get home ( 10 minutes) only to discover half our order was missing, tried to call the store 4 times, answering machine 4 times
My wife decides to go back to pick up the missing order, no way to get into building, no one inside acknowledged her standing at the front door trying to enter. Finally someone noticed her, would not open the door and pointed to the drive up lane, 12-15 cars in line
She waits another 15 minutes to finally get to speaker to let them know we were shorted on our previous order.
Finally gets the shorted items and makes it home / what started as a quick stop to help safe time-she spends 40 minutes extra picking up the shorted order With the ridiculous demand that she has to go through a long line of cars in the drive up lane NEVER AGAIN! Do yourself a favor, if you find that somehow you are in the Wendys parking lot, turn to your right, you will see a Chipotle restaurant, BETTER SERVICE, HEALTHIER FOOD, AND LESS EXPENSIVE FOR A BETTER DINING EXPERIENCE. The frustration that this Wendys caused, the poor customer service (still have not received a call back from the manager after 4 voice messages) Or the poorly trained staff (reading the order back at delivery to ensure order is complete) will be told to...
