Went in about 20 minutes before McDonald's stopped serving breakfast. Ordered food. The establishment needed a good cleaning.
Asked why decaf wasn't on the menu. They said they didn't sell decaf. Unbelievable.
This store is part of a grimy Pilot truck stop. I asked if the truck stop had decaf. They didn't know. The truck stop coffee area was 30 feet away.
I got a decaf from the truck stop and waited for the food. Quite a while later, I saw the employees having a discussion about my order. One of them came over and said they were no longer cooking eggs. Asked if I wanted hamburgers instead.
Hamburgers. At 10:20 a.m. No, I did not want hamburgers. Neither did my pregnant wife.
Is it physically impossible to cook eggs after a certain time? Apparently so. I could do it at home, but a professional kitchen can't. No one offered.
I canceled my order. They asked if it was okay if they gave me a cash refund. I said no. They gave me a cash refund anyway. I complained, and they said that's just how the system does it. It's not how McDonald's does it. Just saying. Other chains do it all day. Wendy's can't pull it off.
I had to go to Waffle House, where the people are nice but the food is not.
Wendy's only seems to be good at posting snotty tweets these days. It used to serve fresh, delicious food. Better burgers than Five Guys. Now corporate has given up. Franchises sell cold, microwaved burgers. Restaurants are dirty. Employees aren't trained.
A friend of mine told me that if you want decent food at Wendy's, you have to insist they give you fresh burgers. Otherwise, it's the heat lamp and the microwave. If they're not going to do things right, I wish they would just go out...
Read moreThis is hit or miss. People that take me orders are awesome. Not sure names but all work after midnight, one female wears glasses, manager I think, guy with red hair, short heavy set girl and a blonde girl are always so nice and friendly. The cooks are okay except for one. I see him and I turn around and walk out. He has long hair but every time he cooks my food, the burger is hard, crunchy and dry. Half the time he looks so drunk or stoned, he can barely stand up and staggering all over the place. I tried going here for breakfast. It was not a pleasant experience. Cashier, Jill is what her name tag said, was rude. I believe she was mad or something because she was almost yelling at a young lady, from pilot with green hair, and pointing all over the dining area. After she was done talking to her, she grabbed lids from the back. On her way back to the front, she stopped to take an order and slammed the tubes of lids on the counter and took the order. After that she stomped through the dining room, mumbling stuff and slammed the lids by the drink area. She started pulling the the lid holders out and throwing and dumping them all over the counter, between the fountain drink machines. Then another customer walked up to order and she got an attitude and stomped to take their order but was kind of rude about it. If I was the customer, I probably would have walked out. I will not be go here ever again in the mornings and at night, if the long hair guy is working, I will turn around and walk out. I can't believe that they allow rude and drunk people to work with...
Read moreI was just here. The lady taking our order literally made a phonecall while taking the order and messed up inputting our very simple order 3 times. It was just 2 small frostys and a junior fry. Her coworker was speaking loudly on the phone behind her about plans after work causing a couple behind us to have to wait. We waited an oddly long amount of time considering there were just two people ordering and the women messed up our frosties. she asked the type again and we told her one vanilla and one chocolate. She then proceeded to bring us two mixed chocolate and vanilla frosties which wasn't a huge deal for me but my boyfriend doesn't like chocolate frosties so he asked if one was chocolate and one was vanilla and she crumpled up her face and made the rudest face at us and argued that we told her we wanted them mixed. We did not. She practically slammed the frosties down for a third time finally correct. And then gave us a bag with cold hard fries while rolling her eyes....
