Came in around 11:30 with a very simple order: Loaded Nacho chicken sandwich and a Ghost Pepper Ranch sandwich.
When we received our order, both were simply regular chicken sandwiches with a slice of American cheese on it. None of the actual specialty toppings were on either sandwich.
Whatever, it happens. Bring the sandwiches back up. After a minute or so, a manager comes by to ask me what is wrong. I explain that we ordered a Loaded Nacho and a Ghost Pepper Ranch sandwich and received two regular sandwiches.
The manager examines the receipt and decides to argue with me. She tells me that I actually ordered an "Asiago Ranch chicken sandwich". I explain to her that no, I did not, and even if I did, the order is still wrong regardless. She then told me that the cheese that was on the sandwich "is what comes on it". I gently explain that no, the menu says right there it is supposed to have melted queso on it because it is a nacho cheese sandwich. She throws both sandwiches into the trash and walks away.
After about five minutes of waiting, someone from the kitchen shouts across the counter to me that they are "out of ghost pepper ranch". I say okay, whatever, just make it two Loaded Nacho sandwiches instead.
A few minutes later I hear someone shout that there is "no queso sauce". Nobody speaks to me about this.
Finally, after nearly ten minutes, I am handed a bag. I bring it to my seat and open it up to find we have both, at least, received a chicken sandwich... except both of them are covered in ghost pepper ranch. And nothing else. No queso, no nacho strips, no ghost pepper cheese, no crispy onion. Chicken breast, ghost pepper ranch, that's it.
As it turns out, when this store is out of something, they just throw random crap on the sandwich and hope nobody complains. I am also confused at how one location can be out of stock of so many different things, or how nobody on management knows what is out of stock until after a sandwich is made. Wendy's doesn't exactly have a huge menu.
We did not feel like fighting so we just ate regardless, but in hind sight we really should have just gotten a refund and left. Oh well. Worst Wendy's experience...
Read moreOrdered through the drive thru. Ordered 3 breakfast combos with coffee. The female associate said and I quote”we don’t got no coffee”. I said “ wow, okay make them orange juice” she said, again I quote” you want what?”. I repeated orange juice. She said” orange?” I said yes. She then told me to drive to the second window. Hey nice I got to the window she told me the price of the order and I gave her my payment. She handed me my card back and 3 orange juices and told me to drive up to the read gate to wait for my order. FYI I was the only one at the restaurant. No one inside and no one else in the drive thru. Remember I only order 3 combos. After 15mins of waiting and still no one came out. After another 5 mins. I turned my credit card off I used for payment. I went in the restaurant and went to the counter. Trying to get the young lady attention( who was stand at the drive through window) I said” excuse me 5 times to get her attention and twice said ma’am. Then hello!” (Obviously ignoring me) she walks over and I asked her to cancel my order. By this time another young lady with a gray shirt on(assuming this is the manager/supervisor) said we have your” we just finished make your order” I said no thank you I handed them back the orange juices that were given to me and said” after waiting 20 min and having no coffee please cancel my order. The gray shirted employee said are you sure I said yes. She attempted to cancel my order and then told the rude employee said” she tied but your card won’t let me. Knowing that I turned my card off confirmed for me that no charges had be applied and the cancellation was attempted. I said thank you” and exited the building. I’m not sure what was really going on this day when I was just there the previous morning with no issue and friendly service. But this second visit was the worst example of customer service I have ever experienced. I was visiting from out of town and am glad I will not have to deal with this again. That Sunday morning shift really needs some training on how to treat your customers. I understand issues come up but communication is one of the best forms of customer service. Definitely...
Read moreI would give negative stars if I could. I placed a mobile order, and when I pulled up to the menu board to tell them I was there, I asked if everyone was wearing a mask properly (I am a cancer survivor and have an autoimmune disease, so I am careful). The girl taking orders told me she couldn't hear me and asked me to come to the window. Once there, I saw that it the girl taking orders had a mask on, no one else in the entire store seemed to have one on. I politely told her I would like to cancel my order because no one was wearing a mask. The guy next to her asked her what was going on, so she told him in Spanish that I wanted to cancel my order because they weren't wearing masks. He flipped out and came outside and started taking pictures of me, my car, and my license plate with his phone. I was told I needed to cancel my order on the app, so I said ok and pulled up my app to cancel the order while still sitting at the window. Another guy came by and said if I didn't move they would call the cops. I said I would go as soon as my order was cancelled, it was still showing the processing icon on my phone. The first guy comes to the window, opens it, and dials a number without saying a word to me. The app finally stopped thinking and I was about to pull away when a police car pulled in. I put my car in a parking space and explained the situation to the officer, and told him I was about to leave anyway. He went to the window and talked to the people there. He came back and said they are allowed to not wear masks starting tomorrow. I pointed out it wasn't tomorrow yet (I called the corporate office for Wendy's, it's actually next week that they can stop wearing masks). They have a right to not wear masks, and I have a right to not eat there. Had I known no one was wearing a mask before I went to this location, I would not have. I do not plan on going back to this...
