SUSHI SIZE DAVENPORT — Restaurant in Four Corners

Not my style, but may work for others.

Stopped by Sushi Size after reading a lot of glowing reviews. I like to try sushi wherever I go. This particular place is a food truck / trailer tucked behind a gas station, positioned in a small cluster of other vendors. The setup is casual and felt safe enough, but worth noting: the dining area is very close to a dumpster, and the surroundings—old motel out back with low-income housing, parking lot fencing—might not feel comfortable to everyone.

Service was friendly but entirely in Spanish, and as the only non-Spanish speaker during my visit, communication was limited. I ordered a few items to sample the range, and while everything was well-presented and clearly made with effort, the seasoning was quite different from what I'd expect from traditional sushi. The flavors didn’t sit well with me afterward, but others online really seem to enjoy it, so it could be a matter of preference or regional influence (the trailer wrap suggests a Venezuelan background).

I ordered take out on my trip to Florida, with out knowing any good restaurants I picked this because they had sushi on their menu. We order each in total 6 rolls and 2 shrimp pop corn, 2 of the roll is spicy tuna. When the food arrived. I opened immediately after 30s after the delivery guy send me a message he is there. The tuna color is brownish black color it is a sign of really really bad and old tuna, and yet they are still selling that to their customers. All other rolls are contain a lot of rice and not too many topping beside cucumbers. I have to throw away 2 orders of the spicy tuna and yes at 10 Pm, me and my sister are still have to eat the cooked rolls. After our meal, we both end up in the bathroom. Absolutely Amazing Sushi Food Truck! I was completely blown away by how good the food was! I honestly didn’t expect a food truck to deliver such fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented sushi, but this place exceeded every expectation. Every bite tasted like it came straight from a high-end restaurant. The rolls were perfectly balanced, the fish was super fresh, and the sauces added the perfect touch.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. The presentation alone made it feel like a special experience, and the flavors backed it up 100%!
