Wendy's — Restaurant in Florida

Accuracy has seemed to decline here lately. My main issues though is with the lady at the drive through tonight. She makes ordering an absolute miserable experience. While I understand the need to have someone efficient at the window, you also need someone with customer service skills. Barking “will that be all“ after every single item is exhausting and the way it’s done comes off rude and inconsiderate.

The last time I came thru, after ordering online to avoid the above type ordeal, we were shorten a medium fry. This time my wife named off mayo, lettuce, tomato and onion. The sandwich already came with all but onion...instead of just putting “add onion” she barked out of the speaker that “the sandwich already came with the 3 ingredients. Not a big deal, but it’s the barking out with a rude sounding tone that is turning us off coming here, and I know other people say the same thing. She shoves the food out the window and slams it shut, had to get her attention in order to get my card back too. It’s getting to be too much. I’m sure she a nice woman when not working, but the tone needs adjusted...and accuracy needs to get better as a whole, no matter who is...

June 15th 2024 Update 1st kiosk I used wouldn't let me pay. Then I asked for a tray for the drinks and they were out, even though I saw someone get one about a second before I asked for one. Then I told the employee that they are out of coke. He said "I don't know what to tell you" Ummm, horrible customer service! This place has gone way downhill and it keeps getting worse. 10/20/23 Update... got Wendy's last night and my stomach has been a complete disaster ever since. Stay away from the chicken! I don't know what has happened to this Wendy's, but it's going downhill. The first time I went to this location was a year ago. I had nothing bad to say about it. The staff was great and the food was too. Fast forward to a year later... Food is still ok, but the store itself has taken a turn for the worst. It's a complete mess. Dirty. Today the soda machine was leaking water all over the floor. The staff seemed like they were all confused. I don't know if they are just understaffed, but it needs to be fixed. I feel bad for them. My daughter called to inquire about a potential job (16 years old, never been employed) the woman answered with "we're on lunch!" and hung up. My daughter called again thinking they were disconnected or that she had the wrong number due to the employee not answering with the business name and how they can be helpful. The woman hung up on my daughter again after saying the second time "you just called were on lunch!" My kid was asking a simple question less than 1 minute of her time. No reason to be rude and yell into the phone to a potential customer, she didn't even know if there was a problem with an order or what. I understand things get hectic but this is fast food...then again with a terrible attitude like hers it could be why she works at Wendy's. I HOPE SHE HAS THE DAY SHE DESERVES!
