We first discovered Wingstop at the old location on Waters by the Walmart almost 20 years ago, and it was love at first bite. Sadly, that one was closed down a long time ago and our nearest option became the Dale Mabry one by Carrollwood or the one by University. The thing is, for my family at least, wings are one of those last-minute options when the day got the best of you and it's 10pm and everybody's hungry. Around here that leaves you with the options of pizza or burgers. Going any farther than absolutely necessary late at night is a struggle when you're already exhausted. Needless to say, we were excited to see a Wingstop open up here near home! They don't have seating yet, so expect to carry out. This is understandable since I hear nowadays restaurants are having a hard time with keeping enough staff... so I'd rather the folks they do hire concentrate on the great job they do at preparing food instead of cleaning tables. There were just two guys running the store when I went (Wed at 11pm) and yet the service was super fast for those that walked in (I pre-ordered online and arrived a bit early to get the wings home as hot as possible). How was the food you ask? Fantastic! The lemon-peppers never fail and taste as if they were seasoned down to the very bone somehow. We also enjoyed the lousiana rubs and the temporary orange-szechuan flavor was a very nice take on sweet-tangy with a very light bit of heat. The cajun's start out delicious but after a couple wings I got the sensation that the salt was a wee bit too much on them (I notice this at every Wingstop so it must be a recipe thing). I still wouldn't avoid them because they do taste great, just don't get too many. Now, the absolute star of the show for us was the Korean BBQ sauce... and we got it on some bone-in thighs... whoaaa! I see more and more restaurants lately selling thighs (supposedly due to chicken supply/pricing issues) and hadn't really enjoyed anything anywhere, but I have to say, this became an instant favorite for us. Sooo crispy crunchy and juicy and the Korean BBQ flavor was perfection on them. Only ordered two of them to try out, big mistake! Only "complaint" I have is that I didn't see a tip jar at the store nor the option when paying online, and even before having tasted the food the staff had been great and I would have loved to show them some appreciation. Hopefully this review gets this location and the employees some much-deserved attention. Keep up the great work! We hope to...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreHear ye, hear ye, noble subjects and esteemed courtiers! I, King Alaric the Wise ruler of all Wingtopia, do hereby proclaim my review of the esteemed establishment known as Wingstop. Upon my recent sojourn to this fine eatery, I have been most pleased by the fare presented before me.
The wings, thou see, were cooked to a perfection befitting the highest of banquets. Each morsel was tender, succulent, and imbued with flavors that danced upon the palate like a merry troupe of minstrels. The variety of sauces available was most impressiveāranging from the fiery heat of the "Atomic" to the sweet and savory delight of the "Hawaiian."
The service provided by the valiant staff was of the highest order. With speed and courtesy, they attended to my needs and ensured that the feast was plentiful and served with a smile. The ambiance of the establishment, though humble, was both inviting and clean, a sanctuary for weary travelers and hungry knights alike.
I commend Wingstop for their dedication to excellence in both culinary craft and hospitality. Verily, I shall decree that this establishment be visited by all who seek a hearty and satisfying repast. Wingstop has earned its place of honor in the annals of my courtās favored dining establishments.
Thus, with great satisfaction and pleasure, I give Wingstop my royal seal of approval. May their wings forever be bounteous and their sauces ever delightful.
Long may...
