Wow Bao - (Inside Caffe Connection) — Restaurant in Florida

i really wish i checked the reviews before i ordered. got a teriyaki bowl and... it was mostly rice with sauce. the meat is not there. a few onion pieces are visible. it was so strange to me that i was afraid to even eat it. never have i ordered teriyaki chicken and not had teriyaki chicken in my dish.

the potstickers and eggroll i got were nothing i can't get from a frozen food aisle. but they were not bad. i can only assume what they use here are bought premade and then (poorly) reheated.

regardless, what i had was not terrible. did not try the bao and unfortunately, i won't be. this was a huge waste of my money.

not sure what is going on with this place but i hope the management in charge of the food quality or otherwise overall business decisions looks at the reviews and wakes up or gives up on this place altogether.

it doesn't seem like there was or is any care put into this place...

I've given them a few tries before coming to write a review. They've gotten my order incorrect 2 out or 3 times. The bao's are not great. They are very dry and feel like they've been sitting out for a while. The paper they put them on top of stick to the bao. I've also gotten a rice bowl that is favorless and doesn't have a cohesive texture when eating. The peanuts they add to it doesn't fit well with the other textures and it makes it feel like the rice is not cooked. There's also really barely any meat in it so don't expect much on the protein. I spent $36 for for this food and it was HORRIBLE. In my bowl was 99% rice and 1% minced up chicken pieces (see pics). I ordered a Teriyaki bowl and received... what exactly I don't know. $17.99 for this rice bowl with 2 pieces of minced of chicken. The pot stickers were soooo soggy and did not taste fresh at all. First time ordering (via UberEats) from this restaurant and will NEVER order from there again. I wish I could take my rating back on the app as well. This place needs to be closed down and out of business for the food they serve...
