I went to the drive thru @ 10:02 pm Less than 30 mins before they close I went and ordered my food through the 1st lane and some young girl took my order I asked her some question from the menu because I haven’t had zaxbys in a long time and it seem as it was bothering her she kept saying anything else anything else anything else after my order but the way she was saying it was in an annoyed way if she doesn’t like taking orders maybe the should switch her position I understand customer service in the food industry is not always the easiest but her customer service needs some training as well as the guy who handed me my order his name is (AMRAMIS D ) he needs some training in the customer service industry he kept looking at me weird because I was smiling and laughing with the other person in the car and than as the nerve to ask me are you good i looked at him and yes I am actually I’m doing really good and that seem to bother him when I was ordering in the intercom i clearly told him extra fries no coleslaw because the person in the car is allergic to it when I was at the window he told me to pull forward to wait for my order so I proceed and than I notice in the receipt it said coleslaw I backed up and my car and told him I stated I want no coleslaw and than he laugh in my face and said okay after I wait for my order and he comes up to me and I see he’s laughing so I kindly ask him what’s funny and he asked me “ do you act like this every time you ordered “ and i was confused than I said like what laugh he said i made the person who took my order uncomfortable and I said to him well that isn’t my problem bc in no way I ever made her feel uncomfortable and the person next to me made it know as well that no I didn’t if she feels some type of way with the way I order she doesn’t need to be working in the food industry than because I’m pretty sure that if the order was recorded you would hear and know I didn’t make her feel any type of way actually the whole situation made me feel uncomfortable to where I didn’t want to even eat the food i paid for and on top of that they STILL put the coleslaw in the plate of the person who was it me when that shouldn’t have happen THEY NEED TO DO BETTER AND GET IT TOGETHER !!!! Never ever will come back i rather go to raising cane even if it’s further from me but atleast i know this wouldn’t happen to me they need to train people better or hire people more capable of not feeling a type of way bc of how i ordered . Read moreVery kind & attentive staff until they weren’t. The lady Fran taking my order didn’t add my free item, I scanned my code and didn’t receive anything. I go back to ask, it took all of their staff to figure this out. In order for the coupon/reward to apply the item has to be added. Welp, again it wasn’t added. They wouldn’t honor it. Now my coupon was scanned and no longer available. 2nd time I’ve tried to use a reward at this location, and it doesn’t work. Not about to argue with them, but I am disappointed. So I did go from a 5 star rating straight down the board. Now it’s a 2 star for service. They walked into the review too, they bribed me with a free cookie for a good review, in the same time they’re preparing my order they mess it all up. Wouldn’t honor my free quesadilla lol lame! The store manager tried explaining to me again after everyone else did that I’m supposed to add it, but that was on the lady taking the order. Then he mentioned he would like to know how they could improve so it doesn’t happen again. So in my suggestion to the store manager is honor the rewards for the customers when the employee messes it up. UPDATE: I was able to retrieve my free quesadilla after all. Today, I visited Zaxby's, expecting the usual quality and service that I had come to appreciate in the past. Unfortunately, my latest experience was far from satisfactory. One significant issue was the apparent downgrade in the quality of their food, which no longer lives up to the standards I once enjoyed.
Moreover, the drive-thru service was notably inefficient and frustrating. They've noticeably reduced the size of their dressing portions, which is quite inconvenient for those of us who prefer extra dressing with our salads. When I requested additional ranch dressing – specifically asking for three packets – they only provided two. This indicates a lack of attention to customer requests.
This experience has left me questioning the consistency of Zaxby's service and quality. It's disheartening to witness a decline in standards at a place I once enjoyed dining at. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and work towards improving both their food quality and service.
