First experience ….. Where do I start!
Let me first say that the men’s restroom was clean. I give them credit for that. Fix that men’s restroom door! Every time it closes, it slams hard and loud. That constant door slamming, can ruin someone’s dining experience.
I don’t like it when staff clean while customers are still eating on the main dining room floor; of course I understand having to clean etc, but to map an entire main dining room floor, as if you where closing for the night while you still had customers coming into the establishment was confusing and weird.
We came late, but not that late to were the main dining room floor should have been getting mopped. I was smelling chemicals before and while I was eating my dinner. Not cool!
The food was average. I’ve had worse. I’ve had better. I would eat the food again.
The wings were average size. Not to big, not to small. Don’t listen to the other reviews about them having small wings. The chicken wings were average size.
The most confusing part of my experience being there was the over all theme of the restaurant, layout, and design of the restaurant.
The front section was closed. The bar section had customers. They had their own music going.
We sat in the middle section of the restaurant.
There were plenty of tables; the restaurant had a nice, sports bar atmosphere. The 10 TV’s or so… were playing different games etc.
In the back section were people of Latin decent, playing Latino music off their phones, over the speaker system (or something like that). No big deal for me.
It was loud with all three different themes going on. I could barely hear the person sitting right next to me.
Every time his phone would ring or beep, the music would stop, and you would hear a beeping sound over the speaker system.
With all that being said, lucky I wasn’t there for the atmosphere; I was there for the food lol.
They didn’t change a thing from the previous restaurant that owned the location. Hell from the looks of the menu, and the taste of the food, they didn’t change a thing; just reopened the doors.
With all that being said, this bars / restaurant is in my neighborhood; and I would go back!
This place might be a better take out place vs a sit down restaurant; until they change...
Read moreOh, where to begin? This place used to be a sports bar—you know, back when it actually cared about its patrons and had some semblance of an identity. But now? It’s a full-blown jukebox joint with TVs awkwardly scattered around like an afterthought. The best part? We couldn’t even hear the game because “SEXY RED” (yes, I’m sure she’s super relevant) was blasting through the terrible jukebox speakers in the background. Very fitting for a place that clearly has no clue what it’s doing.
And don’t get me started on the TVs. They have a ton of them, but good luck getting the game on in any kind of reasonable time frame. Thank God some random customer stepped in to help—because apparently, the staff was too busy playing their own game of “let’s ignore everyone.” We sat at the bar for a solid 15 minutes before the owner finally graced us with the revelation that someone would help us out. Spoiler: 30 minutes later, we got our drinks. At that point, we weren’t even brave enough to order food, because if it took this long just to get a drink, who knows when we’d get anything else?
The bartender? Never acknowledged us again. That is, until we had to practically beg for the check. It’s as if the place is on autopilot, floating aimlessly in the ether with no clear direction or sense of purpose. I don’t know what happened to this place, but if it used to be a sports bar, they really need a...
Read moreI wouldn't know about the food or service. My special needs son and I sat at a table within clear view of the bar (because he's 12 and can't sit up there) for over 15 minutes. The employees were in the bar area. Again we were in clear view and were completely ignored.
Follow up. After messaging the owner on their Facebook page I was absolutely aghast with this: Oh! I my apologies again, there was a sign there saying seat yourself to the left. That area was closed off. Usually if someone is there, they are waiting on someone to arrive. Did you not see the A sign stating that?
My final response was a follows: I was just letting you know but your last comment completely passing over and then blaming me is enough for me to know what I need to. I saw a sign. I also had my autistic son who also has Down Syndrome. Sorry if I was a little preoccupied on my first visit to your establishment. I was just giving you the heads up to maybe get your staff to be....polite. Clearly this is not something you strive for with them. My mistake.
I would have gladly moved to the other section. No problem there. I quickly saw seat yourself and then had to bypass said sign to catch up with my son who was drawn to all the tvs(why he loves places like this) So just realize where your going and the culture brought there...
