Locker Room — Restaurant in Florissant

Been going here my whole life. Best hot wings on Earth. This place just oozes memories from everyone who grew up close to here. They're not perfect, but who is? Sure, sometimes the service is slow and food takes forever, but sometimes a soccer team and two church groups walked in five minutes before you got there, and the kitchen is small, so be patient. There's a reason sometimes the service is slow and the food takes time- for going on five decades, the Locker Room is the place Florissant goes for great times and great food, and they get busy! The service staff is awesome. People love working there so the faces that take care of you stay the same and you end up feeling like a part of a big family if you hang out there for a bit. The owners, Sue and Tim, are the best. They really care about their product and love chatting it up with their guests. The pictures and memorabilia on the walls tell a thousand stories, there are games for the kids, the same bubble hockey table I played on when I was 5 is still functioning and playable (and yes, it's USA vs. USSR!!!!!), the NFL pennants around the edges are from 30 years ago (Houston Oilers!), the bar apparently came from an Anheuser-Busch-owned bar years and years ago and Leon and Michael Spink's gloves hang from the corners, the railings are made out of baseball bats.........I don't think I could imagine a more perfectly imperfect bar. I'm on my way...

Little local place that not too many people are familiar with. My review is soly based on my personal experience. I have been here a few times.

Food: Food was hot and fresh, but I didn't really taste any flavore. I got the Cajun Bruger with Onion Rings, and it just tasted so bland and basic that I feel that them charging 14 dollars was highway robbery. I do give props because the food was extremely fresh and hot, and despite it tasting bland, it wasn't the worst I've had.

Service: Staff and service were good. They made the food wrong so one person got to eat while the other had to sit and watch and wait 10-15 mins for food. It's not really a huge deal. Just kinda sucked because that's one of the reasons for going out. On top of that. Just kept bringing items over to our tabel that didn't belong to us. However, overall, it's not bad. Maybe we came too late, I'm unsure.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere really isn't bad. Very sporty, I can see it being a place people wanna hang out and go have a drink while the Blues and Cardinals play.

Overall, I'm rating the total experience a 3/5 star. I don't think that the price of food matched the taste, and I also wasn't a big fan of having to eat in front of my father while he had to wait. Things happen, but this isn't our first time here. I hope this...

I looked up the menu online, ordered a grilled chicken breast sandwich with bacon & fries & a breaded shrimp basket & fries, it also came with garlic bread. I get home, no seasoning on my chicken, my fries are cold & stale. My moms food was FRIED COD, cold fries & no garlic bread! We called back to figure out what went wrong. The woman stated that they don’t have an online menu & that they are only serving cod fish. When I placed the order..I specified breaded shrimp basket..the woman asked me, would you like cocktail sauce with that? If you didn’t have shrimp, why would you ask me that?? Why wouldn’t you call me back & ask if there is something else I would like?? No salt & pepper, napkins, utensils, condiments in the bag. This was our first & last time eating there. I will tell everyone I know, do NOT go there! That was a horrible experience & waste...
