McDonald's — Restaurant in Flowery Branch

I worked in this location a year. I was an employee there. This is far worst place I have worked at. The new manager she has a bad attitude towards employees. The Manager closes the store way too early before 2:30am before cash only. When it’s cash only the new manager either says it close or taking Uber or DoorDash. I have been cursed from customers several times and this is not fair at all. I show respect to all customers and the manager doesn’t care at all. The manager has favoritism towards people and she yells at employees. That’s why I had quit because of negativity and the way she runs 3rd shift. I found mold in the frappe machine after the employee cleaned it one night but she’s no longer there. This is so disgusting I wanted to throw up. Also when I prepare orange juice or lemonade fruit flies gets into drinks because it’s not properly cleaned by staff and employees even including the drink nozzles from the coffee machine and drink machines. Eat here at your own risk. This is so nasty. The whole place is nasty. This goes against all health code regulations anybody in sursafe should know better. The health department needs to check this place out. It was 3 months ago since inspection. I wish have captured pictures to post. The way this place runs it’s terrible and of gotten worst since they opened this new location. Also I hate when it’s not enough stock for this store they always running out of food products. It was one night they had to close the store because they didn’t have lunch items. This is heartbreaking. The gm manager needs to keep up on stock better so we can better serve our customers. Customers pull off in the drive thru because we out of certain food items. Especially, the icecream machine and customers love icecream. When they hear that the icecream machine not working or the frappe machine is down they get mad or make a complaint. This is making the store look bad and the regular customers probably want even return or they loose customers. What a horrible environment to work in. This place is becoming a nightmare honestly I wouldn’t waist my time to order food or place an order there because customers are dissapointed🤯 This used to be a good place. I don’t know what happened with this location. Somebody please close down this location. It’s a waist of time. If I were y’all I would go to a different McDonald’s. It takes respect to get respect. This is probably the most unreliable McDonalds I’ve ever visited. I’ve been working overnights at Home Depot for about 2 months now. It’s less than a minute away and McDonalds happens to be the only place “open” around here past midnight. I usually take my lunch between 1-2am and have tried to order food here on at least 10 separate occasions. Every single time I’m told “Systems down, cash or door dash only.” Door dash however, won’t let me place orders for pickup. The one time I actually had cash on me I had to wait for my food for over 30 minutes and clocked in late to work because it. It’s ridiculous considering the drive is less than a minute and I’m the only customer they’re waiting on. Plus I only ordered a box of 13 chocolate chip cookies that day to share with coworkers. Not worth the wait and not worth the late point. There’s always someone on my shift who has to return from lunch empty handed and with empty stomachs because the night shift crew they have at this McDonald’s are lazy. One time I sat at the drive thru waiting for someone to answer me through the intercom. I got tired of waiting so i pulled around where i saw an employee sitting on the curb playing with a kid. I asked her if they were open and she said she was the only person who showed up to work so they’re closed. So i pulled up to the stop sign and heard someone else drive up and ask her the same question and she said the system was down they couldn’t take any orders. So which is it?? They just don’t want to do...

Hands down the worst McRestaurant in town. No one greets you. No one even cares if you get your McOrder. Spent over 25 mins waiting on my order (as was my experience the last time I visited as well)...also had the 3 orders that walked in behind me all filled before mine (I had a burger meal and a nugget meal--nothing exotic). They were out of sweet tea in the front of house and the back of house (isn't sweet tea just unsweetened tea and sugar?)...and was informed only after I had ordered and after I had to ask for my cups when my order was handed to me without cups. One of the teenagers (apparently running the show) mentioned to the guest who came in after me (who got their order before me) that they were short-handed. There were 8 employees (that I could see)...how many people does it take??? --apparently more when there is no obviously key employee This unit is obviously owned by a franchisee that could care less how his business is run and who is content with making the bare minimum off of the golden arches organic draw. Zero hospitality. Zero convenience. Dining room and bathrooms are a disaster...messy, unattended-to...not only was the sweet tea out, but the lids to the cups were left on the counter in an open plastic sleeve for the guests to grab. The beverage station looked as if it hadn't been wiped down all day. This is a recommend "McNO GO"...
