The food service industry is definitely experiencing more than trying times right now, and I feel everyone should really take a step back and consider that before posting unfavorable reviews and comments before taking the current challenges into consideration.
I, on the other hand am new to trying out and experiencing Jimmy John's recently in Flowood, MS. I can tell you this, I have to ask myself, "What took you so long?". No, the staff in Flowood is not perfect, no one in the food service industry is right now in my opinion. My experience here with 5 orders in less than 4 weeks has been more than satisfactory and more like fantastic! I order mine through the app and customize my orders with absolutely ZERO disappointment!
I'm not certain if Ms. Crystal is the manager but would have to assume so. She is absolutely phenomenal, friendly, inviting, and treats customers with the utmost respect. She definitely recognizes repeat customers but no matter what she is more than friendly and respectful to all who walk through the door. I'm not sure where her training took place, but she knows how to follow a customized online order to the last detail. She is one of the most friendly and vibrant people I've met in a long time in the food service industry who gives it her all every time she's behind that counter. My coworkers have been so impressed by the quality of Jimmy John's sandwiches and the value, to the point that SUBWAY is almost a "has been" at my workplace.
My apologies for the extended review, but I can't say enough about Ms. Crystal and her professionalism, friendliness along with standards and excellence with customer service and product quality.
I've been in management for many years, and she is a true gem and needs to be recognized for her talent, dedication, and excellence in taking pride in her work each and every day even with the most difficult of customers. Never came to the door to explain why the doors were locked or why the store was closed. Notwithstanding the fact that the days and hours of operation are posted on the front door and online. Additionally I called the store at least two times while sitting in my car outside of the store… no answer either time. While I sat there in front of the store at least four other customers came to the door to order only to find out the door was locked. This message is for the Franchisor and the Franchisee of this location. You are killing your brand!!!!! and your business!!!!! Read moreSpend your money elsewhere. Placed an order online for pickup during business hours on Saturday (supposedly open until 3:00p). When my wife and I showed up, we watched the two employees inside turn the lights off and walk out of the store over an hour before it was supposed to close. From other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue. If I were the owner of this franchise, I would be livid to know the employees don’t care enough to stay the entire time. If the owner knows this is happening, corporate needs to get involved and place a competent person in charge. Regardless of what’s going on here, don’t waste your time or money - spend it elsewhere where people care enough to actually do their jobs.
