My wife and I came to this bar tonight for dinner and drinks. We live in owosso. Called ahead of time to make sure they were open and was told yes. Drove all the way here. Got in and sat down about 745pm. Waitress took our drink order fully watching is each scan the qr code for the menu. Brought us our drinks then avoided any contact, eye contact or anything until we flagged her down at 820 asking if we could order yet. She said they closed the food down early. I explained that the board on the wall says kitchen until 10pm. The whole time we sat there the cook was cooking food for whoever else. As soon as we finally got her attention to try to order the cook shut the light off above the griddle.
We had one previous experience with your bar that was pretty good. A little slow service but the food was good so we decided to come back tonight. So what I'm seeing here is that you're going to turn away paying customers so that you can close the kitchen. It's not like the fryers or griddle was even cooled off or anything. I grew up with my dad owning a restaurant and he would have never allowed this type of behavior from anyone that worked for him.
I guess we wasted our time driving all the way over to flushing in a snow storm just to get let down. Probably won't be back and I'll definitely share my experiences with all of my friends. Read moreWell the bar tender yelled at part of my group because they were still standing and did not yet sit because they were waiting for two more people ( me and my friend ) the others left just before we got there... because of rude bartender with a hat a beard. Knowing this... the two of us decided to get a drink before we joined our group elsewhere.... we sat at the bar... waiting for eye contact, a head nod or a simple word from rude bartender... NOTHING. Keep in mind its Sunday after 4 pm. There were 2 patrans at the bar and only one table eating. The bartender did not know that the party with us prior to our arrival told us what happened... well... we sat for over 8 minute without acknowledging we were sitting at the bar. We finally decided to leave. We had a total of 11 people who wanted drinks and dinner after a performance we had been to in Flushing.... terrible Dive bar, low class. The bartender cost the owner of the bar slot of money... we all drink alcohol and all wanted a meal. Dont makenthe mistake of trying Skips in Flushing. Also no air conditioning, dirty bar, dirty mirrors and dirty looking rude bartender. None of us will ever be back there and we eat out and drink in towns where...

The owner actually brought the cook out to the table so we could complain to him about taking too long on the food. I don't see how that helped anything. Now instead of cooking everyone else's food he's being embarrassed by the owner. Who should have been back there helping him cook. Obviously he was struggling. It was busy with one server. We would of had more drinks had she not been so busy. She didn't have time to wait on us. They definitely needed more help. I also noticed that the regulars got severed first.
