C'est Le Vin — Restaurant in Foley

My recent visit was absolutely fantastic; exactly like every other experience at C'est Le Vin. The owners are friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and take the time to answer any questions we had. We aren't the most daring explorers in the world but somehow they always find us something new and exciting. For example, on a whim I asked about the Gouguenheim Malbec Reserva. I had never even tasted a Malbec before. What a treat! What an amazing wine! At $8/glass a steal and was happy to add a bottle to my collection at $28. I feel like I will be back for many more in my future. For my tastes it was perfect. Another great find that I continue to love is one that I tried at a past wine tasting. The One Time Spaceman Moon Duck is a terrific wine to pair with food or just a casual evening sip at home. I would never have known about this wine had the staff not shared their enthusiasm. I left that night with a rather pricey (for me) bottle of Chardonnay, Krupp Stagecoach, I'm saving for New Year's Eve. I typically don't invest $68 in a bottle but when I asked Holly for something special she didn't hesitate to point me toward this one. All in all this family is making a must-visit out of their dream while hosting special events to support the community, through difficult retail/restaurant times and handling it all with grace and warmth. First, let me preface by saying that I have been making charcuterie boards for years. I love them, and good wine. I have since gotten my friend’s into these things! One of my dearest friends' husbands discovered this place, and we made a plan to visit! Best idea ever! We had a fantastic experience! They greeted us as we walked in the door and told us to sit wherever we wanted. We got comfortable, and they brought us water and asked if we wanted a drink; I was offered a sample of a wine I wanted but wasn’t sure I would like. Wow, what a little gem this place is I can’t even believe it’s right across from a waterpark. Completely family owned, the nicest people. Holly is very knowledgeable. Came two nights back to back bought multiple bottles of wine and she nailed it every time. Tell her your pallet and trust the bottle. We met our family at OWA for a family weekend together. This little place was a highlight of my weekend after large crowds, too much chlorine, crappy waterpark food , and hundred degree heat. How many people do you think pee in the pool ?
