This classic donut shop opened recently and is awesome. I tried the chocolate log with custard, and the custard tasted different than other places. Rather than haphazardly squirting some custard in, they cut the back of the donut and added a whole layer of custard so the donut was extremely full. I hate when parts of the donut are dry and random pockets full, so I love this detail. My family reported other drinks and donuts were good, plus they have a mini apple fritter and a mini cinnamon roll, which is great, so I will be returning. My favorite donut shop in town! They always have a wide variety to choose from, but my favorite is the chocolate with custard inside. So, I walk in and the guy behind the counter didn't really say anything to me. Then I order 3 donuts and I milk, it was 6.10, which is just way too much for donuts, especially at the quality they had, the maple icing in their malpe donuts was yellow, the bacon on their bacon donut tasted like the bacon dog treats, and I think the custard they used was slightly curdled icouldn't even finish it.
