As someone who plays here often, I can say without hesitation: Rolling Meadows is the kind of course that earns your respect—and keeps it.
The 27 holes (Red, White, and Blue) are thoughtfully designed, offering real variety and challenge without ever feeling punishing. The greens are consistently in beautiful shape—fast, honest, and rewarding for those who know how to read them. It’s clear the grounds crew cares. You feel it in the fairways. You see it in the tee boxes. Even on days when the weather’s been tough, the effort shows.
But what makes Rolling Meadows stand out isn’t just the course—it’s the people. The staff brings a kind of quiet pride to their work. From the moment you check in to the time you head out, there’s a sense that they actually want you to have a great round. And you do.
The range is solid, the practice green is reliable, and the clubhouse is exactly what you want after 18 (or 27). Whether you’re local or making a trip of it, this place delivers. Not with flash, but with consistency. With care. With the kind of quality that speaks for itself.
If you’re a golfer who appreciates the game and the people who keep it alive—come play here. You’ll leave better than...
Read moreMy friends and I were really looking forward to our morning at the rolling meadows golf club, especially since we each drove over an hour and a half to meet up and spend time together doing something new. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start.
This course advertises itself as open to the public, but it certainly didn’t feel that way. We were told several times that we had to be finished by a certain time because of an upcoming event. While we understand that events are part of course operations, it seems unfair to schedule tee times so close to one if players are going to be rushed off the course.
We left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend this course to beginners or anyone looking for a relaxed, inclusive introduction...
Read more41 bucks to walk 18. A little pricey but I'd definitely pay/play again, and recommend. 27 holes. Fun layout and course is in pretty good shape right now. Bunkers are fantastically soft and dry compared to others in the State with all the rain and poor drainage. Some challenging holes and greens. #9 is a Par 5 that has a massive tree in the middle of the fairway to shape your 2nd shot around, with water on the right coming in on approach. Like I said, some fun challenging holes sprinkeled in. Played at 7am and pace of play was stellar for back to...
