We went on an extremely busy evening. Everyone was super friendly, food was excellent and the drinks were really well done. I get a Cosmopolitan and some bartenders honestly can't make it that well. Mine was exceptional. The tiny bartender was really nice even though she was super busy. Our waiter was very personable and fun to talk to. It was late I'm sure they were all tired and wanted to be done but they treated us superb. We went to a lot of other places that were full also but they would give us no eye contact because I think they wanted to go home lol. Everyone was busy that night we went to five places and Theo's was the only place that treated us like family even though they had a help wanted sign out side and they were understaffed. They were all smiling and working their butts off. We actually had a wonderful time and great service that kind of put the cherry on top of our evening. It was getting kind of depressing going from restaurant to restaurant from Appleton then down to Fond du Lac on our way home. We were starving by the time we got to Theo's and they were just wonderful. I don't remember what the soup was but it was absolutely fantastic. I had Chilean sea bass it was excellent and my husband had the steak. Their cheesecake was really out of this world. I don't like cheesecake and I ordered my own after I saw...

1/5 Stars - Disappointing Experience at Theo's in Fond du Lac, WI

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Theo's in Fond du Lac, WI, and I must say it was a thoroughly disappointing experience.

The service was abysmal, with our server seemingly unaware of the menu items and providing incorrect information. The staff was slow, inattentive, and lacked basic knowledge of the dishes they were serving.

The food was overpriced and not worth the money. The quality was subpar, and the presentation was unappetizing.

To make matters worse, the restaurant itself was in a state of disrepair, with a dirty and uninviting atmosphere.

Overall, I would not recommend Theo's to anyone. The management needs to seriously revamp their staff, menu, and facilities to provide a decent dining experience.

Rating Breakdown:

Food Quality: 1/5 Service: 1/5 Ambiance: 1/5 Value: 1/5

Recommendation: Avoid this restaurant until significant...

I listen to the radio station sunny 97.7 every morning on my way to work. The DJ always talks about Thursday’s at Theo’s 24 they have discounted appetizers. My husband and I decided to try it out. We sat at the bar and were ignored for about 10 minutes. We were greeted finally by a very nice bartender and I told her we were there for drinks and appetizers. The bartender made us some very good drinks and gave us a menu. We sat there for another 20 minutes and she asked us if we were ready to order and we said yes and she said she would get us a server. We are told three times in the next half hour that a server is coming. Finally one shows up and since we have been sitting there for over an hour we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. It seems to me that the regular customers get service right away, so maybe they don’t need new customers. I like fine food and trying new places and I am willing to pay for it. There...

We enjoyed the tastes of the food and the dining experience. The crab cakes are outstanding as an appetizer. The steaks were tasty but I've had steak's with better flavor and more tender than what we ordered. Soup or salad fresh bread and a side of potatoes and vegetables. I got two small red potatoes with my steak my wife. French fries with her steak. In the front entrance their feature was sea bass or porterhouse. I should have asked the price for the porterhouse before I ordered it because it wasn't worth $42. The homemade soup is creamed spinach and it had small diced potatoes. That soup was outstanding. Be aware this is a very expensive restaurant we did not leave without paying the $150 bill for Just the Two of Us on a Wednesday night. Parking is adequate it is on street parking restrooms were clean barroom is well-stocked with Wine & Spirits in many different tappers of beer. Friendly kitchen and wait staff.

Shouting from the rooftops….. We went to Theo’s 24 and to say I was NOT disappointed is an understate we started the night getting a specialty drink of salted caramel martini. It was delicious. Now for the star of the night I got the garlic stuffed fillet. When I say it was outstanding, that is an understatement. The steak was perfectly done, and the Demi glaze was indescribable. The beefy flavor with a splash of burgundy (totally guessing) was incredible. The scallops were lightly crispy on the outside and done to perfection on the inside. Again not one complaint. We also had an amazing server, Quentin, very professional, knowledgeable, and a dash of carisma. A fabulous birthday dinner. Thank you Dave and Theo’s 24 for making it a great night! First time visiting. Wife and I both got root beer which was decent. Nothing phenomenal. The house bread is warm with a hard crisp crust. Amazing. House salad was fresh and crunchy. Wish it had some cheese though. Dressing tasted cheap store bought. She got the stuffed tenderloin with the demiglaze. It was a 10 for her. I got the new yorj strip. It was a bit more fatty than expected. But the flavor was good. Got a side of demi glaze. Was definitely the move to dip steak in. Their Tarter sauce is also bomb as well. As for the establishment and staff. Staff are super friendly and willing to suggest a meal. The establishment is clean and tidy with nice ceilings. Had a good view of downtown.
