"Small town hospitality" Those words used to mean something. Not in Fond du Loc and especially not at Third and One. My 6 buddies and I flew in from all over the country for a reunion and got an Airbnb on lake Winnebago. After having a great time at nearby bars (The Coliseum and Fat Joes) we stopped here for another drink. After giving the bartender Taylor our IDs, which were from different states, she immediately said they were fake and she couldn't serve us. We are all 25 years old. When we insisted we were all of age she said she would have to call the police. She refused to return our IDs until the cops came, she also refused to give me water until the police came because she "couldn't serve us at all" Refusing a drunk guy water, what a great way to run a bar! The worst part of it all was after 45 minutes of waiting for the police, we decided to call them ourselves. She never even called them! This establishment decided to ruin our night out of malice and spite. The police apologized for her ineptitude and told us not to let it ruin our view of the town. Taylor made that...
Read moreThis bar is absolute hot garbage, I would never send my worst enemy here on his worst day. The bartender took all 6 of my friends IDs and held us at the bar against our will. They claimed to call the police to inspect our IDs. This was a bold faced lie by the bartender. We had been held there for 45 minutes becore I called the nonemergency police line to see if they were sending units. The dispatcher said no one had called the line yet. So the police then went on their way and checked all of our IDs and told us we were good to go. The bartender was an absolute rookie at her job obviously too, my friends and I are all in our mid twenties and she had the notion to try to ruin our night by holding us there for over 45 minutes. I believe the bartenders name was Taylor. But what a horrible vibe, i have never felt more unwelcomed in a bar in my life. Also if you are Jewish I would definitely steer clear, I think you will realize pretty fast that you are...

She was harassing patrons in a saloon named " E.J. Schmidt Sample Room" and got into an especially heated argument with one customer.
"Every German in Wisconsin should be blown up with dynamite," she supposedly said, then pulled a hatchet from within her dress and smashed the whiskey bottle of her antagonist. The saloon owner quickly took the hatchet away from Carry, thereby saving his establishment -- which is still in business,...
